 Fuel scarcity bites harder in Abuja, Ondo, Osun, others • Independent marketers sell PMS between N625 and N799 per litre There is no succour yet for motorists and other petrol end users despite the Thursday statement by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) that it had resolved the logistic problems that sparked the supply crisis. Reports from across the country yesterday showed that many filling stations had no fuel to sell. Some sold over and above the threshold of N650 per litre while motorists and other buyers besieged the few ones that sold within the range of N600 per litre. While many petrol stations in Lagos sold fuel at the normal price and queues were not noticeable, it was a different story in the industrial town of Ota, Ogun State where some filling stations hiked their pump price to N799 per litre. OFFICERS OF OGUN AREA COMMAND INTERCEPTS 772 CARTONS OF FROZEN FISH WORTH OVER N10 MILLION.{PHOTOS}.

                                         The Officers and Men of Ogun Area Command, on tuesday 4th April,2017,intercepted seven hundred and twenty two {722} cartons of imported frozen fish comprising of soley fish,senrei fish of which they fall under water pelagic fishes {open sea fishes}, fifty six {56} bags of imported rice of 50kg each loaded in one {1} refrigerated Iveco truck with Registration Number SMK 96 XR.The goods in summary have a Duty Paid Value {DPV} of Ten Million Five Hundred and Seventy Three Thousand Naira {10,573,000.00}.It is pertinent to note that frozen fish has recently come under regulated product in Nigeria with vivid guidelines which every fish importer must fulfil before he or she can embark on importation of such.For the avoidance of doubt,apart from fulfilling all import guidelines,there must be a fishing license/permit from Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development by importing company and such importation must be subjected to National Agency f

TODAY MARKS 23 YEARS AFTER THE 1994 RWANDA GENOCIDE.{PHOTOS}

                Today friday April 2,marks the 23rd year after 1994 Rwanda Genocide against the Tutsi by the Hutus in which over 1 million Tutsi were killed.Flags will fly at half-mast during the national commemoration week which marks the beginning of the 100-day genocide memorial period.Government launched the Genocide on April 7,1994,and stopped on July 4th by Rwanda Patriotic Army.President Paul Kagame will light a flame of hope today friday at Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre.The flame,which will stay lit throughout the commemoration period,symbolizes Rwanda's hope of a better future.More than 400 guests including international leaders,dignitaries,survivors and their families and representatives of survivor organisations will attend the ceremony.It is followed by a walk to remember in the afternoon,then a night vigil at National stadium.More graphic photos below.

                                                                    President Muhammadu Buhari,GCFR,has approved the reconstitution of the boards of 19 Agencies and Parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Eduucation for a period of four years,in the first instance,pursuant to his powers under the laws establishing the Act of each Parastatal under the Ministry.In making the appointments,the President took into cognizance of the provisions of the respective legislation with respect to composition,competence,credibility,integrity,federal character and geo-political spread.The list is seen above and below in photos.

EFCC ARRAIGNS A FEMALE INTERNET FRAUDSTER TODAY IN EDO STATE FOR 132,000 EURO FRAUD.{PHOTO}.

                        The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC today friday 7th of April 2017 arraigned one Suzan Vega Ochuko before Justice P.I. Ajoku of the Federal High Court sitting in Benin,Edo State on a three count charge bordering on conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretence.Ochuko and one Tony Uyimwen aka Alex Ethan {now at large} allegedly operating with a pseudo name Alex Ethan contacted one Mrs Beatrice AUF DER MAUR from St Gallen,Switzerland via Facebook and defrauded her of One Hundred and Thirty-Two Thousand Euro.Mrs Auf Der Maur was allegedly hoodwinked into a love relationship with the defendant who subsequently defrauded her of the said amount under the pretence of executing a non existing contract.The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.In view of her plea,the prosecution counsel M.T.
