 SANWO-OLU HAILS LAGOSIANS ON SANITATION DAY The return of the monthly Sanitation Day on Saturday was successful- thanks to Lagosians who trooped out to clean their environment.  From Ikorodu to Badagry, Lagos Island and Lagos Mainland ; Alimoso to Ikeja and Agege, the turnout was impressive.  Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu would like to put on record the enthusiasm of residents who woke up early to obey the call for a return to a culture that made our state a healthy and clean place for all.  “I thank Lagosians who joined the call to clean up our environment as a sure step to good health,”Mr Sanwo-Olu said.   “That is patriotic; it is the Spirit of Lagos that we often speak about. We should continue to walk that path,” he added. The governor urged residents to stop indiscriminate dumping of refuse, especially now that the rains are coming.  The government has embarked on a massive cleanup of gutters and drainage systems around the state to prevent floodi...

        People are anxious because earlier this month,she laned in crutches after bruising a bone in her foot from dancing in high heels.Madonna miraculously healed on thursday and she announced via instagram that she was looking for the perfect pair of heels to wear to the Grammy.Don't forget that Jay Z and Beyonce will also be performing,but it might be together or separately,we never can tell.More pictures below.

BOKO HARAM DISPLACED THOUSANDS FROM THEIR HOMES.

      There is a fresh clash between the Boko Haram insurgents and the Nigerian military and that have displaced thousands,making them flee across the Nigerian border with Cameoon and entered Niger.The refugees said their villagers were bombed,that several people had been killed and that at least two villages were burnt to the ground.The clash,raises the number of Nigerian refugees in Cameroon to be more than 12,400 just over 2,000 of whom have been moved to camps deeper inside the country.Those who fled include 8,000 Nigerians and 30,000 Niger nationals who had been living in Nigeria.The latest refugees there told UN aid workers that they had fled a village after its mosque was attacked,seven peple were killed and 6 shops burnt.
