  Indian billionaire Gautam Adani charged in US for alleged bribery, fraud Gautam Adani, the chair of Indian conglomerate Adani Group and one of the world’s richest people, whose business empire extends from ports and airports to renewable energy,has been indicted in New York over an alleged multibillion-dollar fraud scheme, United States prosecutors have said. The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements. OGUN GOVT COMMISERATES WITH FAMILIES OF PERSONS WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN OSOSA RIVER.#PRESS RELEASE.

     The Ogun State Government commiserates with families of persons who lost their lives in the road mishap that occurred just days ago when a passenger bus plunged into the Ososa River along the Sagamu-Ijebu-Ososa Road. Following the unfortunate incident, officials of the Ogun State Public Works Agency (OGPWA) and MOWI conducted inspections on the bridge to determine how to avoid a recurrence. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), it was gathered that the bus drive r had tried to overtake another vehicle on the bridge when a tyre burst. Drivers are therefore urged to maintain low speeds, overtake only in safe areas and ensure that their vehicles are in the best condition before embarking on a journey. The Ogun State Government assures the people of an immediate commencement of work to fix the bridge and to alert unsuspecting motorists of hazards on the road which is currently undergoing repairs.           Following credible information from some patriotic Nigerians about terrorists movement along Banki Road Junction, Pulka in Gwoza general area, troops of Special Response Area (SRA) Pulka under the Nigerian Army Super Camp Gwoza, in collaboration with Civilian Joint Task Force conducted a successful night ambush on Thursday 3rd October 2019, which resulted in the neutraliz ation of 3 terrorists, recovery of 2 AK 47 Rifles and 2 motor cycles.         University Of Pretoria graduate, Ugochukwu Celestine Okoye was laid to rest amidst tears last Thursday, September 26 in Azia village, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State. Late Mgboo, as he was fondly called, was allegedly shot dead by unknown gunmen suspected to be armed robbers at 33 area of Onitsha on September 21. According to an eyewitness at the funeral, loved ones rolled on the ground in grief, others, pointing at Mbgoo's grave, urged him to go after his killers so they never find peace.More photos below.

      A young woman is questioning whether her mother is really her biological mother after she flogged her brutally for going to make her hair. Instagram user, Vanessa, claims she took permission before leaving home. Yet, when she returned from the salon, her mother flogged her. The flogging was so extreme that the young woman was left with red cane marks on her back, shoulder, and stomach. In another post, she said no one understands her except her real dad and step dad.
