 Fuel scarcity bites harder in Abuja, Ondo, Osun, others • Independent marketers sell PMS between N625 and N799 per litre There is no succour yet for motorists and other petrol end users despite the Thursday statement by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) that it had resolved the logistic problems that sparked the supply crisis. Reports from across the country yesterday showed that many filling stations had no fuel to sell. Some sold over and above the threshold of N650 per litre while motorists and other buyers besieged the few ones that sold within the range of N600 per litre. While many petrol stations in Lagos sold fuel at the normal price and queues were not noticeable, it was a different story in the industrial town of Ota, Ogun State where some filling stations hiked their pump price to N799 per litre.                      A new Wine Theme Park is opening in Bordeaux,France.The building is designed to be like a swirling glass of wine.The City of Wine doesn't want to just get you drunk,but wants to educate the public about the history and the future of wine.It has 20 themed areas and exhibits that explain wine culture and history to visitors.For screenings,the City of Wine has a 250 seat auditorium,and there is a simulator boat ride that will show you what it was like to be at sea,sailing the globe on merchant routes.According to the City of Wine,an average tour starts with entry into a bookshop,with a wine bar and casual restaurant.Then there is a wine boutique stocked with 14,000 bottles representing 80 countries.More photos below.                                                                                                    

EGYPT AIR CANCELLED THEIR FLIGHTS TODAY,AFTER A TIP OFF THAT A BOMB WAS PLANTED IN THEIR AIRCRAFT.

               Today wednesday morning,Egypt Air flight from Cairo to Bangkok was cancelled,after a three hour delay.The takeoff was delayed while the airline searched the aircraft and passengers informed the passengers that they received a report that a bomb was planted on the aircraft.An Egypt Air statement published today wednesday said the flight was held while security procedures were carried out following a bomb scare.The statement said a security threat had been posed to Flight 960 flying from Caro to Bangkok,which was scheduled to take off on Tuesday night at 22.30 pm,local time.The threat transpired to be false,but the flight was cancelled.The aircraft was rescheduled to fly a different route,and the 226 passengers due to take the flight to Bangkok were transferred to a hotel near the airport.The passegers will make the journey on the next flight out of Egypt to their destination.

                        The Lagos State Government,in collaboration with top private organisations,is set to train no fewer than 500 Final Year students of Lagos Tertiary Institutions for 13 weeks under the present administration's Ready-Set-Work initiative.The Special Adviser to the Governor on Education,Hon.
