The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements. Turkish basketball player Nilay Aydogan found dead among the rubble following devastating earthquake that has killed more than 33,000 across the region.  Aydogan, 30, who played for Turkish Super League side Cankaya University, had reportedly gone to visit her grandmother in Malayta when the devastating earthquake struck, collapsing the apartment block. The basketball player and her grandmother were found dead among the rubble, with the search continuing in hundreds of Turkish and northern Syrian settlements to try and find people still alive. Aydogan had played for a number of teams across her career in Turkey, including Osmaniye, Yalova and Mersin in the Turkish second division. Aydogan is the latest athlete in Turkey to have lost their life in the tragic natural disaster to hit the country last week. DSS Releases Fani-Kayode After Six Hours Interrogation February 13, 20230 The Department of State Services (DSS), has released one of the spokespersons for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Femi Fani-Kayode, after six hours of interrogation on his allegations of a possible coup being planned by Atiku and top Army generals. The Director, Media and Publicity, Tinubu/Shettima Campaign, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this on Monday via his official Twitter account. Police detain House of the Rock pastor for preaching with AK-47, seek dismissal of police officer who offered him the rifle The Intelligence Response Team, Force Intelligence Bureau, Garki, Abuja has detained the presiding pastor of House on the Rock in Abuja, Pastor Uche Aigbe, for carrying an AK-47 rifle while preaching in the church on Sunday, February 12. Aigbe caused a stir in the church on Sunday when he came in bearing the weapon in his hand.  The FCT police command commenced an investigation this morning and discovered that the weapon was handed over to him by one Inspector Audu who was on an assignment in the church,  When interrogated, Audu told the police that he only offered the weapon to Pastor Aigbe because he wanted to use it for illustration. PRESS STATEMENT: MY INVITATION TO THE DSS Three days ago, on the day that I tweeted about newspaper reports alleging that Atiku was secretly meeting with Army Generals, I received a text message from someone who claimed to be a DSS officer asking me to report to them on a matter of national security.  I dismissed the invitation because it was vague and I was not sure whether it really came from the DSS.  In any case I had no intention of going anywhere unless I was formally invited.  To my surprise I received a formal letter from them to report to their office without fail two days later, which was yesterday evening.  I put a call through to them and was advised to take the matter very seriously and report to them on the stipulated day and time otherwise the worse may happen. I found it interesting that a call came from one of Atiku's dogs for me to be arrested by the security agencies yesterday and had it not been for the fact that the DSS had actually sent a text to me two days e
