 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

HORRIBLE LOOKING BABY SUCKER.#HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY.

                                                I really don't understand what the inventor was thinking when he or she was creating these horrible looking baby sucker that have these monstrous looking big teeth.My advice to mothers since today is children's day is that,is not everything that you see in the market that is ment  for children that you will buy.I will never buy such because it makes babies look ugly.What do you think about the sucker?.

AFTER LEGALIZING GAY MARRIAGE IN IRELAND,THE VATICAN DESCRIBED THE VOTE AS ''A DEFEAT FOR HUMANITY''.

                      Today wednesday,Cardinal Pietro Parolin,the Vatican city secretary of stste,who is the Vatican's second in command after Pope Francis,made these statement during an award ceremony that ''The recent referendum legalizing gay marriage in Ireland as not only a defeat for christian principle but a defeat for humanity''.Ireland,a traditionally catholic country where homosexual acts were illegal until 1993.Last week friday,a gay marriage ''yes'' camp won by 62.1% to 37.9%.Cardinal Pietro Parolin said further that ''These results make me very sad.As the arch bishop of Dublin has said,the church must take into consideration this reality,but in the sense that in my opinion it must redouble its commitment and make an effort to evangelise it.Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco,the Head of the Italian Bishops conferen,said the church was not opposed to recognising gay people''.

ELDER CHRISTOPHER ISIBOR,WAS ARRAIGNED TODAY BY THE EFCC BEFORE THE F.H.C,FOR ILLEGAL DEALING IN CRUDE OIL.

                                                                             Elder Christopher Andrew Isibor was arraigned before the Federal High Court in Lagos,sequel to a petition by the Economic and Organized Crime Office,EOCO,Ghana alleging that the accused person is into piracy,stealing and money laundering alongside a Ghanaian marketer Auxesia Energy Limited.During investigations it was discovered that some Nigerian companies,Earth Petroleum Development Limited,Spiral Oil and Gas Limited,hijacked a vessel MT Sollueshing in March 2013 and used to convey 167,000 metric Low Pour Fuel Oil {LPFO} stolen from Nigerian creeks and transported to Ghana.He was charged on a 3 count bordering on conspiracy and illegal dealing in stolen crude oil.When the counts were read to him,he pleaded not  guilty to the charge.Justice Buba granted the accused bail in the sum of five hundred million naira only and two sureties in like sum.The accused will remain in prison custody pending the perfection o

SOUTH AFRICAN GOVT,MAY LEGALIZE THE SALE OF RHINO HORN STOCK,TO PREVENT POACHERS FROM SLAUGHTERING THEM.

                 The South African Government is yet to decide whether it will seek a two year opportunity,in which to sell off its rhino horn stock pile as a means of halting or slowing the slaughter of the animals by poachers.This comes as the belief persists in some circles that flooding the market with legal horn would reduce the attraction of poaching as the price of the horn falls.Scores of rhino have already been poached in South Africa this year.Worldwide,the trade in rhino horn was banned in 1977 by the convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora {Cities}.In South Africa Moratorium on domestic rhino horn sales was introduced in 2009.

                       Hajia Inna Ciroma,the Director of NIWA,today wednesday tendered her resignation letter,with effect from May 28.This was contained in a statement signed by Mr Tayo Fadile,the authority's General Manager,Corporate Affairs,and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.The statement quoted the information from her letter of resignation addressed to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation {SGF}.It stated that the former minister of Women Affairs,thanked President Goodluck Jonathan,for giving her the opportunity to serve in that capacity.She assumed duty as the Managing Director of NIWA on May 13,2013 following her appointment by the president.Inna Ciroma,who is also a former National Women Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party {PDP},said her decision to resign was honourable and the right thing to do,the statement said.

A MAN AJAYI,HIRED 2 THUGS TO POUR ACID ON HIS EX-WIFE AT AJASA COMMAND AREA,LAGOS.

                        According to sources,a man identified as Ajayi Olatunbosun has been arrested by the police for allegedly hiring thugs to pour acid on his ex-wife,Bamidele Otakiti,in her shop on Adejobi street in the Ajasa Command area of Lagos.It was gathered that all had been well between the couple since they moved to Lagos in 2005 untill a few months ago when a disagreement soured their relstionship.The quarrel was said to have led to their separation in February,2015.It was learnt that the suspect,prior to the divorce,had on several occasions accused Otakiti of adultery.The 47 year old commercial had pleaded with the woman not to divorce him,It was learnt that Otakiti bore three children for Olatunbosun.The two man assailant team had come to Otakiti's shop on April 21 at about 7:30pm,with a substance which later tested positive for acid.She was reportedly trying to give them change for some items they had bought when they poured the substance on her.The attackers allege
