 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria. FRSC BOSS DECLARES WAR AGAINST OVERLOADING IN ZAMFARA STATE TODAY.{PHOTO}.

                                              Worried by rampart cases of overloading with human beings and goods being noticed in Gusau,Zamfara state,the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps {FRSC}, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi has declared a major operation against the menace of overloading,giving a marching order to the sector commander to immediately eradicate the practice with all the might of the command.The Corps Marshal made the declaration over the weekend while addressing staff of Zamfara state Sector Command of the FRSC during his visit to the state capital.Oyeyemi wwho described as ''unacceptable,'' a situation where human beings are loaded with animals in the booth of vehicles,noted that such acts which are common in the state capital must be brought to an end forthwith through aggressive public enlightenment and enforcement programmes by the command,commencing from Monday.''It is appalling to still see human beings and animals being conveyed in the

                  Today is The Queen's 91st birthday.The Queen of England was born in London on the 21st of April 1926.Queen Elizabeth II has ruled for longer than any other Monarch in British history,becoming a much loved and respected figure around the world.Her Majesty continues to carry out a full programme of engagements,from visits to charities and schools,to hosting visiting Heads of State,to leading the nation in Remembrance and celebratory events.The Queen's official birthday celebrations are held in June.This year,the Trooping of the Colour falls on 17 June 2017.

                                               Official investitures have been held on the 19th of April presided over by The Duke of Cambridge.Prince William awarded the Polar Medal to Joanna Worsley,the wife of the late Antartica explorer Lieutenant Colonel Henry Worsely.Henry raised over 100,00 pounds for the Endeavour Fund but died on a solo Antarctic crossing in 2016.The Endeavour Fund was founded in 2012,as part of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry's Royal Foundation.The fund supports recovery of wounded,injured and sick Servicemen and women.Also at the investiture,from the world of sport,Jessica Ennis received her Damed hood for services to athletics.Andd several Paralympians also received honours including Lee Pearson,Sophie Christiansen and Jody Cundy.Mark Rylance received his Knighthood for Services to drama and Victoria Beckham received an OBE for services to the fashion industry.Julie Love received an MBE for setting uo Scottish charity ''DAYNA&

                   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,is pleading to the general public to  please disregard online reports claiming the EFCC yesterday April 20 raided the Abuja home of Senator Danjuma Goje.The report is false as the Commission was not a part of any such activity.I was also shocked when i read the story,Thanks EFCC for clearing the air.

                   The Lagos State Government today friday debunked media reportd linking it to the demolition of Berger retail market,saying that the allegation was far from the truth.In a statement by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development,Tpl. Wasiu Anifowose,the State Government described the media reports as figment of imagination of the authors.The demolition exercise was carried out on Wednesday and most traders denied being served contravention notices.While clarifying the position of the State Government,Anifowose said it was not the norm of the government to act in such manner,adding that before any demolition is carried out,all statutory notices are served.''While the reports in one breath claimed that the State Government was responsible for the demolition,it was also said that it was in compliance with a court judgment.The same report also alleged that an unnamed former Governor was behind the exercise,while still claiming that the land on whi
