 King Charles III to resume public duties next week after cancer treatment The British monarch, King Charles III, will resume his public duties next week following a three-month break to focus on his treatment and recuperation. A few months ago, the British monarch was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer and has been receiving treatment. However, Buckingham Palace on Friday said the monarch would be visiting a cancer treatment centre on Tuesday, the first of several public appearances he will make in the coming weeks. According to the palace, one of his first major engagements will be to host a state visit by the emperor and empress of Japan in June. The palace didn’t provide an update on the king’s treatment but said his medical team is “very encouraged by the progress made so far and remains positive about the king’s continued recovery.” Charles continued his state duties, including reviewing government documents and meeting with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, after his diagnos

EXPLORE USE OF ALTERNATIVE PROSECUTOR TO ACCELERATE CASES DISPOSAL IN FAMILY COURT -  GOV. WIKE Rivers State governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has advocated the need for the judiciary to seek legal audacity that will accelerate cases before the Family Court even when prosecutors develop a cold feet over cases being handled. Governor Wike gave the advise when he formally inaugurated the Rivers State Family Court at the High Court Complex in Port Harcourt on Monday. The Rivers State governor also unveiled the "Family Court Rules, the Guide," and the book is titled "The Child, Ethics and the Law: A Simplified Law Guide for Children and Young Persons." Governor Wike noted that often, prosecutors clandestinely withdraw  prosecution of child's rights abuse cases, which frustrate the case, and justice to the child denied, eventually.
