ANAMBRA GOVT RESCUES 13 CHILDREN FROM TRAFFICKERS, ARREST SUSPECTS. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country. OGUN STATE TO HOLD MONTHLY SANITATION WITH RESTRICTION TOMORROW.

    Ogun State Government will hold its monthly environmental sanitation exercise across the State on Saturday, October 28, 2017 between 7am and 10am. A release signed by the Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Bolaji Oyeleye indicated that there would be full restriction of human and vehicular movements across the 20 Local Government Areas of the State. The release further enjoined residents to comply with the restriction, as anyone  who flouted the order risked government sanctions by the mobile court. It urged the residents to maintain clean and healthy environment by disposing their refuse and waste materials properly after the exercise, warning them to desist from bush burning which could lead to fire disasters as government would not relent at maintaining a clean environment.

LAGOS SCHOOL DISTRICT HOLDS SEMINAR FOR FOOD VENDORS TODAY.

       The Tutor General/Permanent Secretary, Education District IV, Sabo-Yaba, Mrs. Lola Are-Adegbite has charged food vendors of 93 schools from Apapa, Mainland and Surulere zones of the district to ensure total hygiene is met in food service delivery in the schools. Mrs. Are-Adegbite, while speaking at a sensitization seminar for food vendors, themed: “Towards Optimum Food Safety Service Delivery”, held at New Era Girls High Sc hool in Surulere, said food vendors are not expected to do business the usual way, but the right way of putting cleanliness and total hygiene in place. She explained that the programme is essential for the vendors because they are as important as teachers in the school, adding that they contribute to the physical development and well-being of the students more than their classroom teachers and parents. APPEAL COURT OKAYS SEIZURE OF TOMPOLO'S PROPERTIES BY EFCC TODAY .{PHOTOS}.

          The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos today dismissed an appeal filed by Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo , seeking to set aside the decision of the Federal High Court, Lagos which empowered the EFCC to attach all the properties belonging to ex-militant. Justice I. N. Buba of the Federal High Court, Lagos, had on February 19, 2016 made an order attaching Tompolo's properties for failure to appear to answer the ch arges against him.  The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had on December 15, 2015 instituted a Criminal charge against Tompolo and nine others over allegations of fraud at Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA. However, despite substituted service of the Court Summons effected on him, Tompolo refused to appear in Court. Consequently, Justice Buba issued a warrant of arrest against him.
