ANAMBRA GOVT RESCUES 13 CHILDREN FROM TRAFFICKERS, ARREST SUSPECTS. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country. The suspected trafficker, Angela Okechukwu and her collaborators were also arrested.  Speaking, the Managing Director of OCHA Brigade, Comrade Celestine Anere who frowned at the poor health condition the children who are aged between two and twelve years are subjected to, assured that the state government will continue to crack down on all sorts of illegality and warning all criminal minded individuals to relocate from the...

POLICE ARRESTED 13 SUSPECTED BIAFRAN PROTESTERS IN ENUGU,TODAY.

                13 suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra {IPOB} were today monday arrested by the Nigerian police for alleged unlawful protest in Enugu.The Enugu Police spokesman,Mr Ebere Amaraizu disclosed that the suspects were arrested on Obiagu Road in Enugu,while commemorating  Biafran fallen heroes and heroines of the 1967-1970 civil war.He said they were apprehended with flags of Biafra.Amaraizu said the command had embarked on a surveillance of the state following reports of planned protests.He urged members of the public to resort any form of illegal assembles in their areas.One more photo below.                                                                   

59 PEOPLE INJURED ON FRIDAY,AFTER A CLASH IN A NEW MOSQUE IN GUINEA.

                     On friday the 27th of May 2016,at least 59 people were injured in Guinea when youths frustrated they were being kept out of the opening of a new mosque in the town of Timbo clashed with police.Security officials stopped ordinary people from entering the mosque to allow local dignitaries to pass but youths became angry and threw stones and attempted to rush in,police responded with teargas and beat back the youths.Mamadou Kouyate,the director of the regional hospital at Mamou,said 59 people were treated at his hospital alone following the incident on friday in Timbo,which is about 260 km {163 miles} northeast of the capital Conakry.

                      The couple identified as Svetlana and Yuriy Panteleenko adopted the bear named Stephan when he was just three month.23 years old Stephan now weighs 300lb and stands at a height of more that 7ft.Stephan is so domesticated he cuddles up to them in the evening and watches TV on the sofa and eats a hefty 25kg of fish,vegetables and eggs a day.Can you leave with a bear?.More photos below.
