OGIRI COUNTERS NWAEKE'S WIFE'S CLAIMS ON HUSBAND'S WHEREABOUTS .(PHOTO).

 Ogiri counters Nwaeke’s wife’s claims on husband’s whereabouts  A former Commissioner for Power in Rivers State, Prof. Henry Ogiri, has disassociated himself from the claims of Florence, the wife of the immediate past Head of Service, George Nwaeke, he was the one who invited her husband to Abuja. Florence, in a viral video, alleged that her husband was flown to Abuja by Ogiri and that since then the former HoS had been unreachable. Nwaeke had since distanced himself from his wife’s claims, saying he was hale, hearty with his complete senses and was neither kidnapped nor missing. Ogiri in a statement refuted Florence claims saying he had not spoken to Nwaeke since the Supreme Court delivered its judgement on Rivers crisis. EFCC ARRESTS 21 FOR ALLEGED INTERNET FRAUD IN LAGOS.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

  Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal Office, have arrested 21 persons for their alleged involvement in computer-related fraud. The suspects are: Shittu Yakubu, Akinsola Afeez, Adeniyi Joseph, Opeyemi Wahab, Idris Sunday, Lawal Moshood, Jubril Yusuf, Olusegun Mohammed, Adekunle Adesanya and Damilola Abijide. Others are: Sola Adio, Oladipo Ademola, Damilola Adewale, Akinsola Ridwan, Ogunlaye Damilare, Falaye Peters, Magnus Toni, Onanuga Ahmed, Bolarinwa Segun, Onanuga Olawale and Ayomide Afeez. The suspects, who are members of an organized cybercrime syndicate, were arrested on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 during an early morning operation at Roxbury Leisure Homes Phase 2, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Ikota, Lagos, following credible intelligence received by the Commission about their alleged criminal activities. President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday showered praises on the outgoing President of Niger Republic, Mahamadou Issoufou and the citizens of the country for the peaceful and successful conduct of the presidential and parliamentary elections on December 27. Speaking at an audience with Architect Namadi Sambo, former Nigerian Vice-President and Leader of the ECOWAS Electoral Observation Mission (EOM), appointed to oversee the elections, President Buhari said President Issoufou deserved to be congratulated on how he organised and conducted the elections. “I have been very, very impressed by what I have been seeing and hearing.
