 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

2 WOMEN WORKING FOR BOKO HARAM,ARRESTED YESTERDAY.

                According to Director of Defence Information,Col.Onyema Nwanchukwu,after a woman named Hafsat Usman Bako was arrested earlier inconnection with the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram,two more women were also arrested yesterday.They were intercepted on their way to the Sambisa forest.The two women are named Zainab Idris and Aisha Abubakar.It was discovered that the two suspects were travelling to Madafali from where they were to transt to the forest to re unite with their cohorts.Investigations revealed that the suspects led by Hafsat Bako,have the mission to recruit members into the female wing as conduct espionage for the Boko Haram group.The suspects lures ladies,especially widows and young girls by enticing them with male suitors who are mainly members of Boko Haram for marriage.Before their arrest,they were on a mission to take additional briefing from the leadership of the terror group.

                   Kanye West was booed by festival goers on friday night after he launched into an extraordinary 20minute rant in the middle of his wireless set.He was booed because he paused his performance at the London music event held at Finburg park.to preach to the crowd about discrimination with the fashion industry.Kanye told the audience ''I'm not going to mention any names but Nike,Louis Vuitton and Gucci,don't discriminate against me cos i'm a black man making music.F**k saving face and what it's supposed to mean,it's about living my dream''.People left the place immediately after his supposed speech.A witness said ''There was serious booing towards the end of his speech,as people got so fed up and just wanted to hear him perform.More photos below.

2 NIGERIANS,1 SOUTH AFRICAN,ARRESTED FOR FRAUD.

             According to a national newspaper,two Nigerians namely Magnus Ikechukwu Kamah 38,and Ndubusi Sunday Okeke 34,have been arrested and charged in South African after an attempted fraudulent sale of a home in Western Australia.Apart from the two Nigerians,a South African woman Asanda Zimkhitha Cwap ,28 was also arrested on wednesday 3 July following a five month investigation.They were charged with fraud,forgery and uttering.In February,a Mandurah real estate agency that was managing a Green Fields property on behalf of its South African owner received an email from the accused,who allegedly pretended to be the real owner and duped the agency into changing the contact email address it had on file.Two weeks later,a request to sell the property was received and agreements were signed with allegedly forged signatures and exchanged electronically.The property was then put on the market in March,an offer was made on the property and accepted by the pretended owner.On receiving the
