 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country. UN-AUTHORIZED RAIDS: AMBODE SEEKS REDEPLOYMENT OF POLICE OFFICERS+WARNS AGAINST HIGH-HANDEDNESS.

                   The Lagos State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode has sent a formal request to the State Commissioner of Police, Mr . Fatai Owoseni,asking for the redeployment of some police officers attached to the Lagos State Task Force on Environmental and Special Offences Unit.The request came in the wake of last Friday's raids in different parts of Lagos by officers of the taskforce,leading to a rough treatment and arrests of innocent citizens.In a statement issued today tuesday by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy,Mr. Steve Ayorinde,the Governor has sought an immediate redeployment of several of the taskforce officers from the unit and possibly from the state over what the Governor called ''unacceptable conduct''.The release stated that the request became necessary in order to checkmate the reoccurrence of last weekend's unauthorized raid and indiscriminate arrest of citizens who were out to have fun on friday night.Accor...

                                      According to Manish Singh,The Bombay High Court has ruled that it is not illegal to watch pirated content on the web.The ruling addresses a somewhat misleading notice posted by internet service providers in India last month which said that ''viewing'' copyright infringing content too is a punishable act under Indian law.Justice Gautam Patel of the Bombay High Cout ruled that only when a user distributes a copyright infringing content that he or she is committing an offense.''The offense is not in viewing,but in making a prejudicial distribution,a public exhibition or letting for sale or hire without appropriate permission copyright-protected material,'' he said.Several internet service providers in the country began warning customers last month when they visited several torrent and file sharing websites.The warning said that ''viewing,downloading,exhibitin...
