     •LASEPA, Safety Commission To Re-Register, Assess Businesses Before Re-Opening Lagos State is considering full re-opening of the critical sectors of its economy, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, revealed on Sunday. But, the move will not be pushed in a hurry. In the coming days, Sanwo-Olu said the State Government would be rolling out Register-to-Open initiative as part of the plans that would enable it assess the level of readiness of the players in the identified sectors for supervised operations. The Governor spoke at a briefing after the State’s Security Council meeting held at the State House in Marina. Sanwo-Olu said officials from the Lagos State Safety Commission (LSSC) and Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) will be visiting restaurants, companies, religious houses to assess their level of readiness.        The people of Awka in Anambra state have petitioned the commissioner of police Anambra state, asking him to investigate and prosecute the controversial Prophet Odumeje over the trending video on social media where the prophet castigated ndi Awka and threatened to deal and destroy their culture and tradition as represented by Imo Awka.   According to the petition, Ndi Awka told the commissioner of police that they wrote to him to bring Odumeje to justice to avoid total break down of law and order in Awka as their youths are threatening to burn down Odumeje's church and beat up anyone who attends his church within their community.   Odumeje was alleged to have said that ndi Awka are foolish and stupid people for having monkey as their idol.      President Muhammadu Buhari has authorised the commencement of a major military operation to sweep bandits and kidnappers out of Katsina State. A major proactive operation by Special Forces, which details are being kept secret, is now in progress to replace the reactive strikes against insurgent camps. To give a full effect to the exercise, a planning team is already in the State selecting targets and making preparations for the execution of the “unprecedented” operation. The Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, who has been measured in issuing official statements on the oncoming exercise, briefed the President on the plan he intends to flag off shortly. President Buhari who expressed sadness over the recent attacks in the State extended his condolences to the families of those killed and prayed for the recovery of the injured.       Health workers in Lagos are basking in the euphoria of success in Lagos following a successful delivery of a baby boy by a positive COVID-19 patient. The baby was delivered through a caesarean section at the Gbagada isolation centre on Saturday. Announcing the great feat recorded by the State Government through her health workers, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said the feat is another validation of the Government's position that it would stamp out the Coronavirus virus from the State. He said: "I bring you great news from our isolation facilities. Today, a pregnant COVID19 positive patient was delivered of a baby boy through the caeserian section at the Gbagada Isolation Centre. Both Mother and baby are doing well." "Today's achievement is a pointer that our strategies in Lagos state are working and yielding the desired results. It is also a sign of victory and motivation for us as we push ahead in the battle against the Coronavirus pandemic."

     A pastor of a Sabbath Church and his member who borrowed a leave from the founder of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry Onitsha, Prophet Chukwuemeka Oduemeje in reportedly abusing traditional heritage; religion, have met their ends in Umuabiala Community ,Agulu in Anocha L.G. A. Of Anambra State as both masquerades and youths of the community gave  the pastor and his member the beat of their lives for reportedly gaining entry into the community shrine,"Ana Ndi Ichie, Umubiala", and maliciously damaged all items in the shrine. The pastor who wore white garment gown and his member on red , were both flogged by masquerades and forced to dig whatever they buried in the shrine. Masquerades also took their protest to the pastor's church, which is opposite the shrine and destroyed the church properties.More photos below.

      The members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly have been tested negative for COVID-19, the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu said. Adamu- Omadefu made this known while speaking with Nasarawa Mirror in Lafia on Saturday. Omadefu, who expressed gratitude to God Almighty over their COVID-19 status restated the assembly's commitment to contain the spread of coronavirus in the state. "At last all members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly were certified Covid-19 free (Negative). MISSING TWIN FOUND DEAD IN CO-TENANT'S VEHICLE IN EKITI WITH HER BODY PEELED OFF.{PHOTO}.

      The body of a missing twin was discovered inside a vehicle owned by a co-tenant in Olujoda area of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State capital. On Friday, the corpse of the 7-year-old twin, Olagoke Morire, who went missing was found inside the car of a co-tenant with her body peeled off.The deceased and her twin sister, Olagoke Mokore, were with their cousin in their apartment before they went out to buy biscuits at around 1:15pm.Once downstairs, Mokore remembered she forgot her money upstairs and so she hurriedly left to pick it. However, when she returned, she couldn’t find her twin sister.Their mother, Kehinde Ajayi, said the twin sister and neighbors raised the alarm and the situation prompted a search which proved abortive until 8pm when her peeled body was found inside a co-tenant’s vehicle that was parked in their compound.“When we woke up in the morning I took care of my children as usual.
