 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. SOLUDO CONDEMNS MURDER OF ANAMBRA LAWMAKER, HON OKECHUKWU OKOYE, PLEDGES N10M REWARD FOR ANY VALUABLE INFORMATION TO TRACK THE KILLERS Governor Chukwuma Soludo has condemned the gruesome murder of the member representing Aguata, Constituency Two at the State House of Assembly, Honourable Okechukwu Okoye and his aide, Cyril Chiegboka who were kidnapped on the road on 15th, May, 2022. Governor Soludo who was speaking through a Press Release signed by his Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime, expressed sadness over the unfortunate incidence. According to the release, Governor Soludo condoled with his kinsmen of Isuofia, noting that it is probably the same criminal gang that attacked him and killed three policemen at Isuofia two years ago that are once again on the prowl.  While expressing shock and the resolve of his government in confronting insecurity in the state, the release quotes the Governor as offering a reward of ten (10) million naira for anyone or group that will give va...

Anambra Lawmaker who was earlier kidnapped has been gruesomely murdered by unknown Gunmen Sources has it that the Member Representing Aguata 2 Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Okechukwu Okoye popular referred to as Okey Di Okay has been gruesomely murdered by his captors. He was beheaded with the head mounted at chisco park Amichi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State. Late Hon. Okechukwu Okoye as a Sitting House member is also aspiring  for another term to represent Aguata 2 Constituency and was successfully cleared by his party All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to participate in the scheduled primary election coming up on Tuesday 24th of May, 2020 One video below.
