 OPERATION FANSAN YAMMA: TROOPS ARREST TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, DESTROY ENCLAVES IN KADUNA, KATSINA STATES Troops of Joint Task Force North West Operation FANSAN YAMMA recorded further operational successes in Kaduna and Katsina States, arresting suspected terrorist collaborators, intercepting weapons and ammunition, as well as destroying identified terrorist enclaves during separate operations conducted on 27 and 28 August 2026. On 27 August 2026, troops of Sector 1 acted on information regarding the apprehension of a suspected terrorist collaborator in Kaduna State. The suspect was found in possession of 2 locally fabricated guns and 13 rounds of ammunition concealed in a bag. During preliminary investigation, the suspect disclosed that he had been tasked to deliver the weapons and ammunition to another individual. SOLUDO CONDEMNS MURDER OF ANAMBRA LAWMAKER, HON OKECHUKWU OKOYE, PLEDGES N10M REWARD FOR ANY VALUABLE INFORMATION TO TRACK THE KILLERS Governor Chukwuma Soludo has condemned the gruesome murder of the member representing Aguata, Constituency Two at the State House of Assembly, Honourable Okechukwu Okoye and his aide, Cyril Chiegboka who were kidnapped on the road on 15th, May, 2022. Governor Soludo who was speaking through a Press Release signed by his Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime, expressed sadness over the unfortunate incidence. Anambra Lawmaker who was earlier kidnapped has been gruesomely murdered by unknown Gunmen Sources has it that the Member Representing Aguata 2 Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Okechukwu Okoye popular referred to as Okey Di Okay has been gruesomely murdered by his captors. He was beheaded with the head mounted at chisco park Amichi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State. Late Hon. Okechukwu Okoye as a Sitting House member is also aspiring  for another term to represent Aguata 2 Constituency and was successfully cleared by his party All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to participate in the scheduled primary election coming up on Tuesday 24th of May, 2020 One video below.
