 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

BOKO HARAM HAS TAKEN OVER ANOTHER TOWN IN ADAMAWA STATE,TODAY.

                    Today Tuesday that Goodluck Jonathan is declaring,Boko Haram was also taken over another town Maiha in Adamawa state.Maiha is about 25 kilometers from Mubi,the commercial town that was captured by the Islamic militant group Boko Haram,last week.According to sources,even before the town fell to the hands of the insurgents,ii was already a shadow of itself as commercial and social activities were paralyzed.People were already leaving the town due to it's proximity to Mubi.Fleeing residents said they saw many soldiers running away from the area with some of them hitch-hiking in resident's vehicles.The soldiers told the residents that if the insurgents caught up with them,it would lead to instant death.More photos below.

                   Congratulation to Goodluck Jonathan,who after so much pressure from the oppositions and Islamic militant group Boko Haram,declared his intentions to re-run for another term in office as the President of Nigeria.Chieftains of People Democratic Party PDP,and several other groups today tuesday gathered at the Eagle's Square,Abuja to endorse President Goodluck Jonathan for a second term of office in 2015 general elections.Ministers,Senators and members of the House of Representatives and top PDP members were among the huge crowd who had arrived the venue of the declaration to await the arrival of the president.The declaration was anchored by a 37 man presidential declaration committee headed by former minister of Defence,Bello Haliru which was set up for the purpose by President Goodluck Jonathan on October 23 after a meeting with PDP leaders at the presidential villa.Professor Haliru said the president is being asked to run for a second term by Nigerians,not just be

2 PEOPLE ARRESTED BY THE NIGERIAN POLICE FOR INTERNET AUCTION FRAUD.

                     According to the information that was posted on the Nigerian police website,they wrote that ''On the 06/11/2014,police operatives arrested one Ada Eze,a female,aged 44 years and one Chukwumaeme Israel a male age 20 years from Ozobulu in Ekwisigo LGA.Both of them posed as Deputy Superintendent of Police and Commissioner of Police and defrauded a male victim of the sum of Two Hundred and Forty five thousand Naira {N245,000:00} after promising to sell auctioned vehicles to him''.These sad incident happened in Anambra state and the State CID in Awka is still investigating the case.This is a clear warning to all these people that paste auction sales on facebook that don't really exist with the intention to defraud people and run away with their money,you will surely go to jail if caught.One more picture below.
