 Allow court decide Bello’s fate, media office tells EFCC The media office of the former Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello, has said the court was yet to prove the allegations made against the embattled former governor by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. This was disclosed in a statement signed by Bello’s media office director, Ohiare Michael, on Friday, adding that the former governor did not pay the fees of his children with monies from the coffers of the Kogi State Government. On Tuesday, the Chairman of the EFCC at a press conference, alleged that Bello withdrew $720,000 from a government account to pay his children’s school fees in advance. Following the press conferences receipts of payments of the said fees bearing the names of Bello’s children and those of other family members, who separately paid their fees, have gone viral on social media. UNKNOWN GUNMEN OPEN FIRE IN FRONT OF THE NIGER REPUBLIC EMBASSY IN CAIRO,KILLING 1 GUARD.

                                                                  According to the Egyptian interior ministry,they said in a statement that Unidentified gunmen shot dead a security guard outside the Niger embassy in Cairo early today wednesday morning.The gunmen in a car opened fire on guards outside the embassy of the Western African republic at around 1:am.Security services were still searching for the perpetrators.There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack in Giza which is part of the greater Cairo metro area.This terrorist attack is getting out of hand all around the world,i just pray that there will be a lasting solution.

FREE REGISTRATION FOR MOTORCYCLE,TRICYCLE ETC TO COMMENCE 1ST OF AUGUST IN ANAMBRA STATE.

                  From the 1st of August,the Anambra state Government will commence free registration and issuance of identity cards for all commercial and private motorcycles and vehicles as well as boats and canoes operating in the state.In a statement issued by Dr {Mrs} Uju Nwogu,Hon.Commissioner for Information,Culture and Tourism,the state government will also commence the free distribution of branded bibs or vests to all motorcycle riders and life jackets to all commuters using boats and canoes as means of transport in the riverine communities of the state.Venue for the registration is headquarters of 21 local government areas of the state..''Government wishes to use the opportunity of this announcement to inform the public particularly commercial and private motorcycle operators that the order on compulsory use of crash helmet is still in force.The use of life jackets and vests is also compulsory for all commuters using canoes and boats as means of transport .Government

                                             The incident happened on friday at about 7:am in Lemode area of Ogun state.The baby Zainab Olajide who was 41 days old has been poisoned by her own father identified as Kazeem Olajide,in attempt to divorce his wife.According to sources,the mother Abosede Ogundare,had left Zainab with Kazeem to sweep the compound only to come back and met the baby with foams gushing out from her mouth.It was learnt that Ogundare alerted neighbours to the incident having found a bottle containing pesticide with her husband.The baby Zainab was said to have been rushed to a hospital in the community,where she eventually died.The suspect,who hails from Abeokuta,Ogun state,attempted to flee,but was held by residents,while the landlord of the house reported the case to the monarch of the community,Oba Solomon Sokunbi.It was gathered that the father was handed over to the policemen at the Agbado Police Division after he confessed to the crime before the monarch.A re

AN 8 YEAR OLD CHILD ZION HARVEY,IS THE FIRST CHILD IN THE WORLD TO RECEIVE A DOUBLE HAND TRANSPLANT.

               According to sources,an eight year old boy has become the very first child in the world to receive a successful double hand transplant.Zion Harvey suffered from a very serious bacteria infection when he was a toddler and his hands and feet had to be amputated.He was very happy and optimistic after going through surgery and had plans to throw football,climb monkey bars and hold his baby sister.According to Sky News,a 40 person surgical team used steel screws and plates to fuse together Zion's old and new bones before delicately reconnecting his muscles,nerves,tendons,veins and arteries.After several weeks on physical therapy,the doctors said he would be able to pick up smaller objects like Cheerios and Legos.Before his transplant,Harvey was able to feed himself and play video games as well.The boy is now required to take drugs which suppress the immune system for the rest of hi life to ensure his body does not reject his new limbs.Doctors believed he was an ideal cand
