 Noise pollution: Lagos seals five churches, 19 hotels The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency has temporarily shut down no fewer than five churches and 19 hotels over noise pollution between March 23 and April 26  Calculations by our correspondent also showed that no fewer than four markets and shopping complexes were also shut down over noise pollution and other environmental infractions. The churches that have been temporarily sealed include St Monica’s Hall of Our Lady of Lord’s Catholic Church, Christ Rock of Fire Ministry, Wonderful Bible Prayer Ministries, God’s Porch Ministries, and an unnamed Catholic Church Some of the hotels affected are School2bar, Blue Seasons Hotel and Suites, Sulerious Lakeside Hotel, Monero Hotel and Suites, and Lekki Hotel and Suites.       The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has secured the conviction of Osahon Scott, who posed as one United States, US military officer to perpetrate online fraud. Scott was arraigned on March 12, 2019, before Justice Umar Bature of a Federal Capital High, FCT High Court sitting in Maitama, on an amended one-count charge bordering on cheating. The count reads: "That you, Osahon Scott (aka Gen. Sgt. Major John Rossi) sometime in 2018 in Abuja within the Abuja Judicial Division of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, did attempt to commit cheating by posing as United States Gen. Sgt. Major John Rossi an American soldier deployed to Afghanistan on peace keeping mission and fraudulently induced one Li Sufung to deliver the sum of 20, 000 Yuan (Twenty Thousand Yuan), that the money is payment for cost of non inspection of certificate, a claim which you knew to be false and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 320(a) of the Penal Code Law Cap 532

A ROTTWEILER ATE A BOY TO DEATH IN PORT-HARCOURT.{PHOTOS}.

     What u are seeing covered with a pink-purple cloth  in the picture below is the remains of a little boy who went to school March 7th at Tessy road in Rumuagholu off Rumuokoro area in Port Harcourt and was bitten to death by a Rottweiler dog. The gate man of the house where the dog lived, opened the gate for the dog and Rottweiler ran straight to a school ( though not fenced) owned by Assemblies of God church, and ate up a pupil of the school then pounced on another child and ate up her buttocks before an angry Mopol man now shot the dog to death. The second victim is receiving treatment at Spring Rose Hospital along Rumuagholu road. The gate man of the house has been arrested by the police.More photos below.
