      The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has described as a face-saving measure the decision by the PDP to pull the brakes on its electioneering campaign over Justice Walter Onnoghen's suspension, saying the PDP's campaign never gained traction in the first instance. Responding to reporters’ question in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, on Saturday, on the suspension of the PDP's campaign, the Minister said: ''Which Campaign? Their campaign was over a long time ago. There is nothing to suspend. We said it that their campaign had floundered. You can now see.        A gang of three was recently arrested for prostitution and human trafficking in Dubai, they were arrested for falsely manipulating unsuspecting Nigerians with the promise of providing them with decent jobs in the United Arab Emirates and upon arrival of their victims, they are dispossessed of their passports and other personal belongings before forcing them into prostitution. The gang members namely Chinonso Emmanuel Onuabuchi, Ifeanyi Clement Nnamoko and Nneamaka Blessing Okafor were arrested after the Association of Enugu Indigenes (UAE) led by its chairman Mr. Kingsley C Eze was informed that an indigene of its state (Enugu) was deceived from Nigeria to Dubai by the culprits, forced and molested into prostitution.        The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) yesterday, 26 January 2019, honoured the 5 crew members of the Mi-35M helicopter that crashed in Damasak, Borno State on 2 January 2019 while providing close air support to troops of 145 Battalion. The 5 deceased crew members were honoured alongside, the Late Squadron Leader Mohammed Bello Baba-Ari, a fighter Instructor Pilot who died during rehearsals for aerial display for Nigeria’s 58th Independence Celebration, as well as 13 other deserving NAF personnel and civilians who had distinguished themselves in their areas of responsibilities in 2018.        A heavy rainfall which occurred on Thursday in Onitsha area of Anambra State has led to the untimely death of a young lady. Report has it that the deceased was swept away by the heavy rain and her corpse was later found by a rescue team . The residents are blaming the government for the bad road at Ochanja area where the incident occurred as they say it has done more harm than good to the people of Onitsha since the last 10 years.
