 NO ABANDONMENT, NO NEW AWARDS: FG SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON MOROCCO SCHOLARSHIPS The Federal Government has firmly debunked misleading narratives circulating in some quarters regarding Nigerian scholarship students in the Kingdom of Morocco, describing such claims as false, unfounded, and deliberately crafted to misinform the public. The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, has clarified that no Nigerian student on a valid Federal Government scholarship has been abandoned. All beneficiaries duly enrolled under the Bilateral Education Scholarship (BES) Programme prior to 2024 have received payments up to the 2024 budget year, in line with the Federal Government’s obligations. Any temporary delays in outstanding payments are attributable to fiscal constraints and are currently being addressed through ongoing engagements between the Federal Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.               These are the two teenage Indian girls who were raped and murdered before their bodies were found swinging from a mango tree in northern India this week.Three brothers today sunday 1st of June 2014 confessed to attacking and killing the young cousins,named Murti and Pushpa,in a case which has horrified india.The crime provoked national outrage after it emerged that police in the village of Katra initially refused to investigate the girl's murder due to their low caste status.More photos below.

BOKO HARAM FREED 2 PRIEST & A NUN IN CAMEROON.

                   According to sources two Italian priests and a Canadian nun,kidnapped in northern Cameroon nearly two months ago by suspected Boko Haram gunmen were released today sunday,smiling and apparently in good health as they arrived in the capital.Giampaolo Marta and Gianantonio Allegri,missionaries from the Diocese of Vicenza in northeast Italy,and Canadian Gilberte Bissiere were seized against their will on the night of April 4 from the parish of Maroua,close to the the border with Nigeria.There has been no claim of responsibility for their kidnapping but Cameroon officials have pointed the finger at the Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram.The captives were seen arriving at Yaounde airport today sunday in the company of heavily armed Cameroon special forces.                                                 ...

BOMB BLAST IN ADAMAWA STATE TODAY.

             According to sources,there was a bomb blast today in Mubi Adamawa state.sources claimed Boko Haram bombed bars and brothels joint near Army base in Adamawa state.Sources claimed about 60 people are lying dead because of the bomb blast.More official reports later.May God help Nigeria.
