 BENUE TASKFORCE NABS THREE FOR N350,000 'MARCHING GROUND' EXTORTION 29th March, 2025      The Taskforce on Illegal Levies and Criminal Activities in Makurdi has arrested three suspected gang members for extorting money from a borehole drilling operation in the Nyoogyungu area of Makurdi, Benue State. The suspects, identified as Anyakpa Aondoaver, Sende Stephen, and Akaahan Terna, were reportedly caught on CCTV demanding N350,000 as an illegal “Marching Ground” levy from a drilling team. Acting on a distress call, the task force swiftly intervened and apprehended the suspects, handing them over to the Police Area Command in Makurdi for prosecution. Parading the suspects, the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to Governor Hyacinth Alia on Youth Organization and Illegal Levies, Hon.           The joy of spending christmas with her family in Barbados and unwrapping presents together.She finally head out doors for some fun,in the sun on her short vacation.Rihanna wore a pair of conflower blue 40s style bathers teamed within a baby blue bikini top,over which she threw on an oversized light lue denim shirt to keep herself totally colour co-ordinated.Her hey glasses matched the deep blue diaper shorts and it had two different colour of shades of blue.

3 CLEARING AGENT & A MOTORCYCLE DEALER,CAUGHT WITH HARD DRUGS.

                                                                                                 NDLEA,National Drug Law Enforcement Agency,have arrested three customs licensed clearing and forwarding agents and a motorcycle parts dealer for alleged involvement in drug trafficking.Today thursday,the suspects were being interrogated in connection with threee shipments of methamphetamine,ment for export to Malaysia on an Ethiopian Airways flight at the Mutarla Muhammed international Airport in Lagos.The 70.4kg drug has been estimated at N352million street value.The three agents are,Adewuyi Segun,45 years,Atebata Godwin,27 years and Akpaida Kareen Ajayi,33 years.The motorcycle dealer from Nnewi Anambra state,Ukpabi Paul,was also arrested.More photos...

BOXING DAY GHASTLY ACCIDENT AT SAGAMU ROAD.

           Three persons,two male and one female were confirmed dead in a boxing day road Abeokuta,and it happened today.The accident occured about 5pm today.It involved a commercial bus and a Nissan urvan.The accident happened at Soowo town,near Kobape,in Obafemi Owode Local government area of Ogun state.The bus belonged to the Road Transport Employers Association,Nigeria,RTEAN.The vehicle was coming from Ibadan and it was going to Sango Ota and it decided to pass through Abeokuta,so as to aviod some grid lock on the road .The accident was caused by over speeding as the driver lost control when the tyre burst.The vehicle somesaulted and crossed the median.Apart from the three persons who died,eight other persons,made up of six male and two female were seriously injured.
