Yari Distributes 145 Trucks of Grains as Palliatives to People of Zamfara About 140 trucks of Maize is set for distribution across 14 local government areas of Zamfara state by Abdulaziz Yari the Senator representing Zamfara West.  This was disclosed in a statement to newsmen in Gusau by his Chairman, Publicity Committee, Malam Ibrahim Muhammad Dan'madami.  The US Department of State has issued new security advice to its citizens.  In a new release, the department advised Americans to reconsider travelling to Nigeria “due to crime, terrorism, civil unrest, kidnapping, and armed gangs.” According to the release, the department advised its citizens against travelling to Borno, Yobe, Kogi, and northern Adamawa states due to terrorism and kidnapping; Bauchi, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Sokoto, and Zamfara states due to kidnapping; Abia, Anambra, Bayelsa, Delta, Enugu, Imo, and Rivers states (with the exception of Port Harcourt) due to crime, kidnapping, and armed gangs. Oyo police arrest herder who k!llëd his employer, buried corpse in shallow grave and absconded with 20 cows and 14 sheep Oyo State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old cattle rustler, Muhammadu Bello, for allegedly killing his employer, Yay Mohammed, who was a cattle dealer at Soku Village, near Iseyin Town. Bello was paraded at the state Police Command Headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan, on Friday, September 22, 2023, along 32 other suspects arrested for alleged involvement in various crimes ranging from cultism, to armed robbery, impersonating among others. Missing South African magistrate’s lifeless body found in car boot, police arrest her husband Police in South Africa have arrested the husband of a Regional Court Magistrate, Mamello Thamae,40, after her body was discovered in the boot of their car in Lesotho.    Police had on Friday, September 22, 2023, launched a manhunt after Thamae and her husband, Lehlohonolo Maketoane, were reported missing.  At the time, SAPS spokesperson, Captain Loraine Earle, said the pair were last seen in Heilbron, in the Free State. "Magistrate Thamae arrived at her home in Heilbron. At around 4am on Thursday, the car drove off from the family home. A cellphone and her husband's clothing were also missing. Her clothes and cellphone were still at home," police said. At the time, Earle said there was a strong suspicion that the vehicle may have driven through the Ficksburg Port of Entry into Lesotho.
