 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

POLICE ARRESTS MAN WHO LURES LADIES TO HOTELS WITH A PROMISE TO GET THEM A JOB AND THEN RAPES THEM.(PHOTO).

Police arrests man who lures ladies to hotels with a promise to get them a job and then r@pes them Operatives of SWAT Bayelsa State Police Command have arrested one Joseph Godfrey, 50 years, for allegedly luring unsuspecting female job-seekers to a hotel and s€xually assaulting them. A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Asinim Butswat, says the suspect usually disguised as a staff of Government House, Yenagoa and lured his victims with the promise of Job opportunities and employment. Butswat said the suspect ran out of luck on 10th October 2022 at about 1300 hours, when one of the girls raised alarm and he was arrested at Opolo, Yenagoa. He said the suspect is being interrogated by Police operatives while investigation is ongoing.

THREE BROTHERS AND ONE OTHER ARRESTED FOR ROBBERY IN OGUN  Operatives of Ogun State Police Command have arrested three brothers and one other for carrying out series of robbery operations in Ijebu ode area of Ogun state. The suspects identified as Hammed Jagbojagbo, Idris Jagbojagbo, Tobi Jagbojagbo, and Tosin Ogundeko were arrested following a distress call received at Igbeba divisional headquarters that armed robbers have invaded the shop of a premier lotto agent at Odi olowo area of Ijebu Ode and robbed the agent of N90, 000. The robbers were also accused of snatching a bajaj motorcycle belonging to one Clement Conleth. Upon the distress call, the DPO Igbeba division, CSP Musiliu Doga quickly led his patrol team to the scene, gave the robbers a hot chase, and succeeded in arresting one of them by name Tosin Ogundeko from whom the Bajaj motorcycle was recovered. The arrested Tosin Ogundeko subsequently led detectives to their hideout in Epe Lagos state where the remaining three were

POLICE ARREST SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBER IN  DELTA.  Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a suspected armed robber in Warri area of the state. Spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, who disclosed this in a statement on Monday, October 10, 2022 said one locally made cut-to-size double barrel gun and short gun were recovered from the suspect. "On 9/10/2022, Operatives of the Command Eagle-Net Special Squad while on Aberdeen patrol in Warri, sighted a male passenger carrying a mini bag who on sighting the Police, alighted from a mini bus and fled with the bag," the statement read. "His action was suspicious hence the operative went after him. The suspect on noticing that the Policemen were closing up on him, abandoned the said bag and escaped into a nearby river. NENE LEAKES' S SON 'BRENTT LEAKES ' RECOVERING AFTER SUFFERING A STROKE AND HEART ATTACK.(PHOTOS)

NeNe Leakes' 23-year-old son Brentt Leakes is reportedly currently recovering from a heart attack and stroke he suffered earlier this month. Insiders have told TMZ that Leakes suffered the medical emergency in Atlanta, and was quickly taken to a hospital for treatment. He was hospitalized for a few days but has since been released and is currently in rehab. 'Everyone is hopeful he will make a full recovery,' writes TMZ, citing sources. NeNe has yet to address the report on her social media accounts. Brentt is the son of Real Housewives Of Atlanta star NeNe, 54, and her late husband Gregg Leakes. In addition to Brentt, NeNe has son Bryson Bryant from a previous relationship. Her late husband also has five other children. NeNe and Gregg were married in in 1997. They would later get divorced in 2011, but then later reconciled and remarried. Last year, Gregg passed away at age 66 following a four year battle with colon cancer. One more photo below.

Kidnapped Kaduna DPO Regain Freedom The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Birnin Gwari in Kaduna State who was kidnapped in June by terrorists was released on Wednesday. The DPO, Sani Mohammed, a chief superintendent of police, was kidnapped alongside many travellers on the troubled Birnin Gwari highway while travelling to commence work as the DPO of the council area. He was transferred from the Panbegua Division in Kubau Local Government Area. He was abducted after his convoy was overrun by gunmen. On Thursday, the younger brother of the released officer, Adamu Abdullahi, told PREMIUM TIMES that the police have secured the release of the officer. I Never Called Tinubu a Super Politician – Obasanjo Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has denied singing the praise of former Lagos governor Bola Tinubu. Obasanjo declared that from his experience, only military-trained personnel were good managers of people. The rebuttal by the ex-Head of State was issued on Sunday by spokesperson, Kehinde Akinyemi. Obasanjo stated that he could not have made any remark at the expense of his noble military profession.
