 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

                            Congratulation to Pastor Naziri and Barrister Adelarin Waziri,who got married yesterday saturday the 15th of August 2015 at the Chapel of the Healing Cross Idi-Araba Surulere Lagos,and the reception took place at the Peacock Hall Island club 3 Island Road Onikan Lagos.Adelarin Bammeke,was my classmate in LASU,we both studied law and is been like 8 years i saw her last.The wedding was like a re-union for everybody that attended and the wedding was packed with Judges,Lawyers,Doctors and other reputable fields of life.I must commend the decorator of the hall,because i thought i was in a mini heaven,i will always pinch myself and my car keys do remind me that i am still on planet earth.Her gown fits her like a glove and the colour of the day ''Gold and Peach'',was just perfect.Not to say much,just watch the few pictures i snapped below.

          Do you remember the 18 year old girl,who was raped by a Part-time lecturer in the University of Lagos {UNILAG}identified as Mr Akin Baruwa,while she was seeking for admission in UNILA?.Now the management of Adeleke University Ede in Osun state,after listening to her story,offered her admission into their institution.The school management said they got touched that she wanted to further her education but got raped instead.The V.C of the school,said they are willing to grant her admission.Is just a pity,how people take advantage of people because they need help.Shame on that Part-time lecturer.

                       According to sources,Unidentified gunmen shot and killed Burundi's former army chief of staff yesterday saturday.Colonel Jean Bikomagu was shot dead outside his home in Bujumbura in the morning as he returned from church.His daughter who was with him,was seriously wounded and rushed to the hospital.According to the Burundi president spokesperson Willy Nyamitwe said on his facebook page that ''Another black weekend in Burundi.Blackened by the assassination of a senior member of the Burundian army in retirement,Colonel Jean Bikomagu..Very sad,very shocking''.Colonel Bikomagu was army chief during the civil war that started in 1993 when the Tutsi dominated army was fighting then rebel leader,and now President,Nkurunziza's CNDD-FDD Hutu rebels.The assassinations in Burundi is beginning to scare me.Early these month,gunmen killed a former Burundian security chief and close ally of President Nkurunziza.The next day,a prominent human rights activ

CHECKOUT THE MUG SHOT OF A PIGEON,THAT WAS CAUGHT SMUGGLING DRUGS INTO A PRISON IN COSTA RICA.

                                   I just got a report that a pigeon was caught by prison guards,smuggling cocaine and cannabis into a prison in Costa Rica.The bird was seen landing in the central concourse of the medium security La Reforma jail,in San Rafael de Alajuela,where it was taken into custody.The drugs were contained in a small zipped up pouch strapped to the animals chest.The guards spotted the bird on tuesday afternoon as it flew towards an open area of the medium security La Reforma prison.Prison Director Paul Bertozzi said ''They observed the bulge on the animal so they captured it and confirmed that it carried a bag with zipper and drugs were inside...It seems the dove was trained for it''.The pigeon was examined by experts at the Zoo Ave Animal Rescue Centre who said the bag it was carrying caused some damage to its digestive system.A mugshot of the bird,caught by security officers and taken into custody,was released by Costa Rica's Department of Jus
