 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

SUPERMODEL CARA DELEVINGNE COVERS BRITISH VOGUE,SEPTEMBER ISSUE.

                   21 year old super model Cara Delevingne has been revealed as British Vogue's new cover girl for september edition.The Vogue team said ''The biggest that we have ever published and with more fashion shoots than ever before.The September issue brings all of the autumn/winter 2014 collections to the fore for the first time,making us almost wish  for the first leaf to fall''.Delevinge was photographed by Mario Testino and this is the third time in 18 months that she covered the magazine.Cara was angry after Vogue American  edition claimed she fell asleep during an interview.Read her reply to American vogue below.

JIM IYKE WEARS EBOLA MASK AT THE AIRPORT LOUNGE,ON HIS WAY TO LIBERIA.

             Jim Iyke has sparked outrage after posting a image of himself wearing an Ebola mask while sitting in a first classs airport lounge waiting to fly to Liberia.He posted a message on his instagram saying he had cut short a business trip to Monrovia in Liberia.He captioned the picture ''Not ashamed to admit this scares the Jesus outta me #Ebola.His wearing mask what about the fans that will touch him and his even exposing his arm and legs.More photos below.

BRITISH FOREIGN SECRETARY,HELD AN EMERGENCY MEETING WITH UK EXPERTS ON EBOLA.

          British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond had a meeting today wednesday with other top level government officials,health experts and scientist,to discuss the spread of Ebola virus in West Africa,saying the outbreak was a threat and needed urgent respond.Philip Hammond said ''In terms of the U.K the issue is about the possibility of somebody who has contracted the disease in Africa getting sick here.It is not about the disease spreading in the UK because frankly we have different standards of infection control procedure that would make that most unlikely''.

AFRICAN GIRLS TO SUE BRITISH AIRWAYS OVER SEXUAL ABUSE BY A PILOT.

                   The unfortunate thing about these case is that the supposed pilot is dead.54 year old Simon Wood a First Officer,who carried out the alleged crimes during stop overs in Kenya,Uganda and Tanzania.He was found dead after being hit by a train in August 2013,two weeks before he was due in court on charges of indecent assault and making indecent photos of a child.Nichola Marshall the lawyer representing 16 alleged victims age from eight to 20 said ''We allege that Wood was able to abuse the victims,by reason of his employment with the airline,in particular through his involvement with the airlines community relations work.The schools and Orphanages that our client attended were all in receipt of charitable donations from the airline,and wood played a key role in administering those donations,on behalf of British Airline.''

34 KILLED IN GUINEA BEACH CONCERT HELD TO MARK THE END OF RAMADAN.

            There was a rap concert held yesterday in Guinea beach to mark the end of Ramadan,in Conakry.Hundreds of people gathered at the Donka hospital in the capital to visit the injured and identify the dead.Their were 34 bodiesin the morgue but eye witnesses saw 3 children dead bodies.The list of the injured keep growing ,the oldest among them can't be more than 20.There were also young girls among them.Witnesses said ''The event was attended by up to 10,000 people,mostly children and youths ,who came to see popular local rap groups Banlieuzart and Instinct Killers.More photos below.
