 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country. IMO STATE TO HOST THE 2022 EDITION OF NATIONAL BEST OF NOLLYWOOD AWARDS  His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has approved the hosting of the 2022 Edition of National Best of Nollywood (BON) awards in Imo State. The approval was made during the courtesy visit of the Best of Nollywood National Executive Members to Governor Hope Uzodimma at the Government House New Exco, Owerri. The Governor in his address expressed pleasure and assured of the Government’s support for the success of the program. More photos below.

Police Inspector Dies During Hot Sex With A Widow In Ibadan Hotel A 47-year-old Inspector in the Nigeria Police, Michael Ogunlade from Eleyele Operation Department, has been confirmed dead during marathon sex with his secret lover, the name withheld, at the Hotel The Classical a.k.a White House, Oke-Ado in Ibadan. An informed hotel source told our correspondent that the incident happened around 3:15 pm, on Sunday, shortly after the two of them paid for a short rest. According to an eyewitness, they met me at the staircase but being one of the workers, I cannot be looking at their faces, so I just ignored them. A few minutes later, the woman rushed down and started crying, saying the man was unconscious. “We quickly informed the police at Iyaganku Police Division and they came around quickly but before they would take him to a nearby hospital, he had given up the ghost.” She stated.

Bandits Kidnap 22 Villagers Along Abuja-Kaduna Highway Terror bandits have raided some houses at Anguwar Maji,in Jere town along the Abuja-Kaduna Highway & kidnapped 22 villagers barely 24 hours after the IG of Police Usman Alkali Baba visited the highway. More details later.

Monday Sit-At-Home: Churches In Awka Answer Call To Pray Against Insecurity Churches in Anambra State Capital Territory, Awka have joined in the special prayers requested by the Anambra State Government to enthrone peace and tranquility in the State. The Anambra State Government and the Joint Body of South East Council of Traditional Rulers, Bishops and Archbishops on the State of Insecurity in the Igbo Homesteads at the end of a one day peace building and security dialogue last Saturday agreed to hold prayers across the state today.  The prayers is planned to mark the end of the regular Monday Sit-At-Home that started in the state on August 9, 2021. EFCC Arraigns Woman for N5m Fraud The EFCC, on Friday, April 1, 2022, arraigned Sahura Mohammed Adejoke before Justice F. A. Aliyu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Apo, Abuja, on a three-count charge of criminal breach of trust and obtaining under false pretence. The defendant allegedly fraudulently collected the sum of N5, 500,000 (Five Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira) from one Aminu Tasiu and Bawagana Mohammed for conversion to United States Dollars and failed to perform the transaction or return the money to the owner.
