  Indian billionaire Gautam Adani charged in US for alleged bribery, fraud Gautam Adani, the chair of Indian conglomerate Adani Group and one of the world’s richest people, whose business empire extends from ports and airports to renewable energy,has been indicted in New York over an alleged multibillion-dollar fraud scheme, United States prosecutors have said. The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements. KENYA,REJECTS NORTH KOREA'S OFFER TO OPEN AN EMBASSY IN THEIR COUNTRY.

                     According to sources,an attempt by North Korea to establish a diplomatic mission in Nairobi has been turned down.Diplomatic source within the United Nation office in Nairobi have indicated that the UN mounted pressure on Nairobi to reject the move by North Koreans,despite officials from that countr visiting Nairobi twice.Though on sunday,the government denied that North Korea,formally known as the Democratic people's Republic of Korea {DPRK},has made the application.Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho told their Kenya citizens that ''That is not true.North Korea did not make such request''.However the UN says two delegations came to Nairobi in November last year and in early March,seeking favours and hopefully start a process of establishing a diplomatic post in Nairobi.''The delegations had had very powerful officials in the government of North Korea.They sought to speak with foreign ministry officials over the possibili

A NIGERIAN STUDENT UFOT EKONG,BREAKS JAPANESE 50 YEARS RECORD BY GRADUATING WITH A FIRST CLASS.

               Ufot Ekong From Akwa Ibom state,a Nigerian student has broken a 50 year record in Japan after graduating with 1st class degree and best overall student from Tokai University in Tokyo Japan.He was the first Nigerian to achieve this feat since 1965,solving a mathematical equation that could not be solved 30 years ago in his first semester.Ekong won a Japanese language award for foreigners,in addition to two patents under his name for developing an electrical car.Ufot Ekong is currently working with Nissan.Congrats to him.One more photo below.

                    According to sources,the news of the secret meeting was broken today by Tokunbo Korodo,the south west Chairman of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers {NUPENG}.He said he had the information that the Deport and Petroleum Products Marketing Associstion {DAPPMA} is meeting with the president elect on the subsidy issue.He said ''I think the outcome of that meeting may determine if DAPPMA will reopen the deports for loading or import more into the country.The prevailing fuel scarcity may worsen if depot owners shut their deports to tanker drivers,no tanker driver had loaded petroleum products as at 1:30pm on monday.What i was told was that the Independent deport owners may have shut their depots to tankers driver because of the over N200billion owed them by the Federal Government.The relocation of the tankers from highways and the inabiity to load fuel at the depots were responsible for the free flow of traffic in Apapa axis.The recent directi
