KANO COURT JAILS WOMAN SEVEN YEARS FOR N5.6M FRAUD. (PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE

 Kano Court Jails Woman Seven Years for N5.6m Fraud   Justice Maryam Sabo of the Kano State High Court sitting in Kano has convicted and sentenced Ebonine Rita Uzoamaka to seven years imprisonment for obtaining the sum of N5,600,000.00k( Five Million, Six Hundred Thousand Naira) by false pretence.  The convict was arraigned on August 18, 2021, on five- count charges of dishonest misappropriation of funds totaling N5,660,000.00 (Five Million, Six Hundred and Sixty Thousand Naira). One of the charges reads:  “That You Ebonine Rita Uzoamaka on the 18th January 2021 at Kano within the jurisdiction of this honorable court with intent to defraud, did obtain the sum of N2,000,000 (Two Million Naira) only from Ochayi Anthony Eneche which you caused to be paid into your bank account number 0093030293 domiciled with Access Bank Plc under the false pretense that you had 500 cartons of D-Rich Baking powder you would sell to him, which pretence you knew to false and thereby commi...

ALGERIAN MILITANTS LINKED TO ISIS,BEHEADS A FRENCH HOSTAGE.

               Today wednesday,ISIS linked militants in Algeria have beheaded a French hostage captured at  the weekend having earlier made threats to kill him if France did not stop bombing targets in Iraq.55 year old Herve Gourdel was captured by the Islamist group Jund al-Khilifa while hiking in the Djurd Jura National Park on sunday just one day after he arrived in Algeria for a 10 day walking holiday.This afternoon the terrorism Watchdog Site Intelligence Group distributed a video by Jund al-Khilifah,announcing Mr Gourdel's death.More photos below.                                                                                                                 ...

                                                      The picture above belongs to the victim identified as Bose Owoyele.The quack doctor is identified as Femi Olabisi Akindele.48 years old Femi Olabisi Akindele was arrested and charged for allegedly killing 26 year old Bose Owoyele in his hospital,Duro Doluwa medical clinic and maternity home.The hospital is located at Ijoko Ota road,Interpol Bus stop,Sango Ota,Ogun state.Femi carried out surgical operation on Bose,knowing that he was a quack and without the knowledge of her family.He was arraigned at Magistrate court 2 which is presided over by Chief Magistrate S.T Bello {Mrs} at Ota,Ogun state.Femi is said to have committed an offence contrary to section 316 {3} and punishable under section 319 of the criminal code lawa of Ogun state of Nigeria 2006.Bose was pregnant and she was suffering from jaundic...
