 Texas man arrested with 75 pounds of marijuana in luggage while flying to London, police say A Texas man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities found 75 pounds of marijuana in his luggage before he could board a flight to London. Harrison O’Neill Tiernan, 23, from Austin, was charged with cannabis trafficking. He was traveling to Heathrow Airport and had checked two suitcases for his British Airways flight. Inspectors discovered 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing a green, leafy substance later confirmed to be marijuana. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped Tiernan while he attempted to board the flight, and he acknowledged that the bags were his. Authorities noted the inspections were part of broader efforts at the airport due to high outbound narcotics activity. In total, Tiernan was carrying 34.01 kilograms, or 74.98 pounds, of marijuana. PROTESTERS STORMED INEC OFFICE IN LAGOS OVER THE POOR DISTRIBUTION OF PERMANENT VOTER'S CARD.

            Today monday,protesters stormed INEC's office in Yaba,Lagos office at about 9:50 am with placareds protesting the attempt to dissenfranchise Lagosians by allegedly hoarding the permanent voters cards {PVC}.The protesters chanted solidarity songs and vowed that they would never allow elections to be rigged in the state.There was tight security as policemen armed with guns ensured that the protest did not degenerate into violence.Spokes person of the protesters Comrade Declan Ihekaire said Nigerians were afraid that INEC is planning to rig next year's election especially in states controlled by the All Progressives Congress {APC},which informed the hoarding of the PVC's from getting to the people.''INEC must ensure that the PVC'S get to the people and they should not attempt to rig the election.Those in power know that there will be protest votes in 2015 and that is why they are trying to rig the election.Another Group called TNG.also joined the p...

IS JUST A PITY HOW 48 INNOCENT PEOPLE DIED AND 79 STUDENTS INJURED IN YOBE STATE TODAY.

                          According to sources,a suicide bomber dressed as a student killed at least 48 people,most of them students,and injured 79 others at Government Science Secondary School assembly in the northern Nigerian town of Potiskum Yobe state,today monday morning.Though nobody came out to claim the bomb blast but all fingers at pointed to the Islamic group,Boko Haram.Angry locals had blocked access to the school ad adjoining hospital,preventing security forces from getting close to the site of the explosion.A police source said the people in the crowd did not want a repeat of what happened last week when members of the security forces fired at residents after a bomb killed nearly 30 people.When will all these bomb madness stop in Nigeria?.One more photo below.                                           ...
