PDP CONDEMNS THE REPEATED SNUBBING OF THE SENATE BY THE IGP TODAY.#PRESS RELEASE.

Image
In an official statement issued by the Peoples Democratic Party May 9, 2018 Press Statement IGP: Nigeria Drifting Towards Totalitarianism    The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) condemns in its entirety the repeated snubbing of the Senate by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Ibrahim Idris, who, had for the third time, shunned the Senate invitation over the worsening security situation in our nation. PDP notes that this deliberate assault on our democratic process, willful denigration of the National Assembly and recourse to totalitarianism has not been reprimanded by President Muhammadu Buhari, as the chief security officer of the nation. It is instructive to state that never in our democratic history as a people and a nation, has a service chief or an inspector general of police treated the National Assembly with as much dishonor and disdain like the current IGP. All over the world, the legislature is a bastion of democracy and our constitution, in

MET GALA THEME INSPIRES ME EVERY YEAR+MY COMPLETE SUNDAY LOOK.{PHOTOS}.

Image
When I heard of the MET Gala theme “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” I knew I have a blouse that can match-up that theme.Every year when they call a theme for the MET GALA  I become inspired and I make a wearable outfit to match the theme and I do take out my time to watch the red carpet moments live on E! to see if any designer is thinking towards my fashion idea. This my black blouse was originally bought with long sleeves,I deliberately converted it to this flay hand and I added tinsels to give it that edge. What is the fashion lesson here?.Not all outfits bought already made should be worn like that, you can make some changes by adding or cutting off what you don't like. Not all outfits should be rejected at first glance. You can turn a long gown with buttons to a coat. You can turn a long skirt to an off shoulder gown and wear a long or short coat to make it look good.Use your brains when shopping and spend wisely. On sunday I wore a long black skirt

BEWARE OF FAKE STATEMENTS ASCRIBED TO PRESIDENT BUHARI.#STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE.

Image
The public is hereby alerted to a new dimension in the orchestrated plot to diminish the stature of President Muhammadu Buhari before millions of Nigerians who love and adore their President. First, it was a pernicious twisting and misinterpretation of the words of the President by mischievous elements, perhaps they can earn him opprobrium and infamy. When they see that the gambit is not achieving the desired results, they have now gone into utter fabrication of apocryphal statements, which they purvey through the social media. An example is a fictive portion of the February 2015 lecture by the then Candidate Buhari at Chatham House, London. This is what is circulating now on social media: "What is the difference between me and those who elected us to represent them, absolutely nothing. Why should Nigerian President not fly with other Nigerian public? Why do I need to embark on a foreign trip as a President with a huge crowd with public funds? Why do I need to go
