LASPA TO CREATE PARKING LANE MARKINGS IN SELECTED PARTS OF LAGOS … Assures Lagosians of Improved Parking System The Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) has revealed plans to create additional Vehicle Parking Lane Markings in selected locations across the State, reiterating that all efforts by the Authority are geared towards improving the parking system of the State. Speaking on the planned initiative on Friday in Ikeja, the General Manager of LASPA, Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu stated that the vehicle parking lane mark exercise will commence on Monday, 28th November, 2022, adding that designated streets within Surulere, Ikoyi, Lekki, Obalende, Ikeja and Victoria Island axis of the State will experience this development as the Authority is set to improve street parking from 2023. LAGOS COMPENSATES FAMILIES OF DEAD/INJURED LNSA OFFICERS The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has presented monetary compensation to the families of dead and injured officers while on active duty, just as it reiterated the commitment of the State Government to the welfare and well-being of all residents in Lagos State. Speaking at the presentation of Cheques to the beneficiaries on Friday at the Headquarters of the Agency, the General Manager of LNSA, Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan said Governor Sanwo-Olu is totally committed to ensuring the safety of residents of Lagos State and will continue to enhance the service environment. KDSG Security Update: Friday 25th November 2022.  KDSG condoles victims of bandit attacks in Giwa, Birnin Gwari and Kajuru LGAs.  On a sad note, the Kaduna State Government has sent its deepest commiserations to families of several victims who were killed in attacks by bandits in Giwa, Birnin Gwari and Kajuru local government areas.  The Government was informed by security agencies that bandits attacked Rafin Sarki in Giwa LGA, with 11 locals confirmed killed. They are identified as:  - Abdullahi Musa  - Adamu Musa - Aminu Nasiru  - Adamu Ibrahim  - Yau Usman Ladan - Yunusa Saidu  - Salisu Abdulrahman - Fati Usman  - Yakubu Ya'u - Marwanu Ibrahim  - One unidentified  Similar briefings revealed that Cibiya and Karamai communities in Kufana, Kajuru LGA were attacked by bandits and two people were killed, identified as:  - Idon Bonos - Aston Namaskar Several persons were left injured.  Furthermore, bandits killed two people in Damari, Birnin Gwari LGA. EFCC Secures 3328 Convictions in 11 Months- Bawa. Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Abdulrasheed Bawa on Thursday, November 24, 2022 disclosed that the Commission has secured 3328 convictions so far in the course of the year.   He made this disclosure in Port Harcourt, Rivers State,   while declaring open a one-day Training Workshop on Financial Crimes Reporting for Journalists, in the Niger Delta area of Nigeria.  According to him,  the EFCC has secured 3328 convictions as at November 18,  2022 and got the court to forfeit the sum of N755million recovered from a former Accountant- General of the Federation, three luxury properties from Colonel Bello Fadile( retd),  former aide to former National Security Adviser,  Sambo Dasuki. "We also secured interim forfeiture of 40 assets in Nigeria, United States of America, London and Dubai belonging to former deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu. Snapchat Porn Actress, Teenager Jailed for Cybercrime in Ilorin The Ilorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, November 24, 2022 secured the conviction of one Daniel Atekojo James, who claimed to be a female Black American on Snapchat and one Atadoga Samuel from Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State for offences bordering on internet related fraud before Justice Sani of the Federal High Court, Ilorin. Daniel, 28 and Atadoga, 18 were arrested on June 3, 2022 at Lokoja following actionable intelligence on their fraudulent activities. The convicts, who were prosecuted separately on one count charge pleaded guilty to their respective charge  

The police in Gauteng have arrested a man that is suspected to be responsible for the Monaco Tavern shooting incident that happened in Mamelodi during July of 2022.  The 25-year-old suspect who has been on the list of police's most wanted suspects was arrested in Mamelodi by the Tshwane Anti-Drug Unit and Mamelodi Combat Team on Thursday, 24 November 2022. The suspect, who was found in possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition during his arrest, is linked with several cases that include car hijacking, murder, attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm. Delta Police arrest fake EFCC operatives  Following series of complaints received from members of the public, especially from the youths, alleging that EFCC operatives usually break into their houses at night, forcefully arrest them, take them away and extort huge sum of money from them, which partly gave rise to the "END EFCC" protest in Ughelli that led to the burning of over thirteen trucks and destruction of properties, the Command did not relent, as intelligence gathered revealed that they may not be EFCC operatives as it is being alleged.  On 16/11/2022, the Command received another complaint from a victim (name withheld) whose house was stormed at night by the syndicate, they gained entrance into the compound by scaling the fence, broke into his apartment, forcefully abducted and took him away in a white Toyota Hiace bus.
