 Governor Uzodimma Marks His 67th Birthday With a Thanksgiving Service His excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma has marked his 67th birthday celebration with a thanksgiving service at the Government House Chapel, Owerri, where he appreciated God for his grace upon himself and his family. The service had in attendance, top government officials, security chiefs, traditional rulers, religious leaders from different denominations, politicians, youths, women groups, friends, family members and numerous well-wishers. In his remarks after the service, Governor Uzodimma called on Imo residents in particular and Nigerians in general to intensify their prayers for the peace, progress and security of Imo State and the country. The governor acknowledged the grace and goodness of God upon himself as a person, while his little twin daughters who share the same birthday date with him, and his entire family, used the occasion to invite the audience to join him in service to the state under his watch ...

                 Today monday in Kenya,dozens of Kenyan citizens took to the street against homosexuality and a lawmaker said U.S President Barack Obama should not push a pro-gay agenda when he visits the country later this month of July.Obama has hailed last month's U.S Supreme Court decision to allow same sex marriage but few share his view in Kenya or other African countries,where socially and religiously conservative views generally prevails.Lawmaker Irungu Kangata told the demonstrators today outside the parliament that ''We are telling Mr Obama when he comes to Kenya this month as he tries to bring the abortion agenda,the gay agenda,we shall tell him to shut up and go home''.Many of the Nairobi demonstrators wore T-Shirts with the slopans ''Protect the family match and stand within the family''.Deputy President William Ruto told a church congregation in May that Kenya had ''No room for gays''.The comment was made the same day th...

44 PEOPLE CONFIRMED DEAD BY NEMA,IN YESTERDAY TWIN EXPLOSION IN JOS.

              According to Nigeria's National Emergency Management Agency {NEMA} today monday confirmed the death of 44 persons following a twin blast that rocked the central north city of Jos on sunday night.The agency's Zonal Director in charge of Jos,Mohammed Abdulsalam,who disclosed this to reporters in the Plateau state capital,said 48 others were seriously injured,and are hospitalized in various hospitals in Jos.In a statement reaching Xinhua in Lagos state,the government also condemned the twin bomb blast in the city of Jos and described the perpetrators as those who were eager at ensuring that the state did not enjoy any form of peaceful coexistence.The government advised residents of the city to be vigilant,adding that security is everybody's business.One more photo below.                                                 ...

               It has come to my notice how after performances of a male entertainer,female fans will rush up to the male entertainer to autograph their breast.Like seriously that is open prostitution and i can't just believe the male entertainer can't correct them instead he goes ahead to start signing on their breast.Two people can't be crazy at the same time,one person out of the male or female should be sane enough to know these act is wrong.Dear readers what do you think about these act of autograph?.
