 Junior Pope: Family of late Nollywood actor releases burial date Funeral arrangements for the burial of the late Nollywood actor John Paul Odonwodo have been released by his family. Junior Pope and four other actors drowned after their boat capsized in the Anam River in Anambra State on April 10 while returning from a movie shoot. Of the 12 individuals who boarded the ill-fated boat, only seven were rescued alive, while five died, including Junior Pope. The details of funeral arrangements for the late actor, signed by Divine Odonwodo on behalf of the family, indicated that besides the April 23 requiem mass at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish in Asaba, Delta State, another requiem mass is scheduled to be held at Christ the King Catholic Parish, G.R.A., Enugu, on May 13. On May 14, an evening of tributes and candlelight will follow at Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu at 5 pm.                  Mariah Carey's brother has raised alarm that his sister might die like Whitney Houston,due to her drinking and he clsims he has not seen her sober.Mariah and her brother Morgan has not spoken to themselves for the past 2 years,but his afraid Mariah Carey is unable to care for her four year old twins Moroccan and Monroe because he believes she is trying to numb her problems with wine and champagne.Her brother alleged that she has been a heavy drinker since suffering from mental health problems in 2001.He said ''Mariah was drinking through her pregnancy even while she was nursing.I can't say that i have ever been around when she was sober,and that's very scary.She does not have a support system,and she is not mentally capable.She takes a daily cocktail of medications including Zyprexa,Ativan and Depakote.I fear she will die like Whitney Houston''.One more photo below.

                        The Today show shared the clip from the eight part documentary series,which will be premiered on E! on July 26,wednesday morning.From the clips Bruce Jenner was seen saying ''Is n't it great that someday you'll be normal just blend into the society?.Put it this way,i'm the new normal''.In the other scenes,Bruce Jenner now Caitly Jenner,was seen applying makeup while wearing a robe.Bruce further said ''You start learning the kind of the pressure that women are under all the time about their appearance.A couple of weeks ago,actually a professional came in and did my makeup.What a difference,maybe this is my greatest calling in my life.Be honest with myself,be honest with my family,maybe end up helping other people.So many people go through life and they never deal with their own issues.How many people go through lif and waste their entire life because they never deal with themselves,who they are?.More photos below.

                       According to witnesses in Ekiti state,many of the Major roads that lead the way into the Ekiti state capital,Ado Ekiti,have been barricaded and shut don by thugs under the direction of Governor Ayo Fayose.A spokesperson for Governor Fayose confirmed the news to pressmen saying that PDP supporters are at checkpoints at Ado Ekiti and are preventing APC lawmakers from creating anarchy.The lawmakers efforts to impeach Governor Fayose is intended to stop the peace in the state''.This latest development comes days after Governor Fayose promised an uprising in his state if the All Progressives Congress {APC} lawmakers continued on with their impeachment efforts against him.In particular he called on the motorcycle riders and other groups of Ekiti citizens to obstrct daily life in the state.Witnesses observed Fayose's thugs barricade the Olasore side and Efon Alaye section of the express road,as well as the Ikere section of the Akure Ado express road.Witnesse

                    The purpose for these classes is to counter the message of violence promoted by Boko Haram militants.A school named al-llmu Nurul Hayat Islamiya,is teaching a new curricumlum based on peace and tolerance in an effort to dilute the influence of the militants.The initiative,recognized state wide is under the guidiance of Jama'atu Nasril Islam,the umbrella organization for Muslim groups in Nigeria.The Jama'atu Nasril Islam campaign has set up a battle for the hearts and minds of the Local Youth,with Boko Haram on one end and community leaders on the other hundreds of Islamic schools across Maiduguru are also teaching young Muslim children and youths,the dynamics of peace.Mohammed Abdullahi,Director of Religious Affairs for Borno state said ''Boko Haram started preaching in islamic schools and Mosque across Maiduguri and we realized that they were using Islamic schools to promote their violent ideology to youths''.

                    The 36 year old woman identified as Obiageli Oriuwa,stabbed her husbands younger brother Doctor Ikechukwu Oriuwa to death because she wanted him out of his father's house.She is married to the doctor's elder brother and they both lived in the 52 Ladiga Ajegunle with their wives and children.She had been allegedly fighting him to leave the house with his family because she claimed that the house belonged to her husband,since he was the first son of their father.On that day of the incident,Obiageli allegedly got a knife and stabbed Ikechukwu on the chest and he bled profusely and collapsed.He died before he was taken to a hospital..The mother of four was arraigned yesterday tuesday before Justice Raliatu Adebiyi,High Court Igbosere,following the report of Directorate of Public Prosecution,DPP.The DPP report indicted Obiageli and directed her to face trial over the death of Ikechukwu.Obiageli was kept in prison custoday at Kirikiri after she was charged before
