 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country.       ‘How I received news of death of my wife, three kids’ Tavershima Jebe, a Tiv man from Benue State, who lost his wife and three children in a fatal accident on the Nassarawa Eggon-Lafia road in Nasarawa State, has told The Nation how he received the news of the accident. Jebe, who intermittently betrayed emotion and wept profusely at his David Jebe Street, Logo 1, opposite First Bank, Makurdi, home, said he drove his wife, Comfort and the three children, David Iorwuese, 10, Beauty Iwuese, seven, and Favour Dooshima, three, to Benue Links Transport Company park in Abuja. He said after they boarded an 18-seater bus to Makurdi, he bade them farewell, not knowing that it would be last contact with his lovely family.       Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue, this afternoon, 19th September 2019, at Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Center, Awka, presented Items ranging from mattresses, cooking utensils, food items, and gas stoves, to both Nteje home for the mentally challenged and Model children home Awka. The Honourable Commissioner, ma de the presentation in line with the desire of the Gov of Anambra State, His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano, to improve facilities and welfare of staff and inmates at all the state owned welfare centers in Anambra State. It is worthy to note that, both Nteje home for the mentally challenged and Model children home Awka are presently undergoing massive renovation, to improve facilities at the centers. COMMERCIAL DRIVER FILMED CHANGING GEAR BETWEEN A FEMALE PASSENGER'S THIGHS IN LAGOS.{PHOTOS}.

      A commercial bus driver was filmed changing gear between a woman's thighs while driving his bus. In a video shared online, the female passenger, wearing a short dress, is seen sitting beside the driver, with the gear stick between her thighs. Whenever the driver needs to change gears, he reaches for the stick between the woman's thighs and shifts it, then keeps driving. As for the woman, she doesn't flinch as this happens. The Twitter user who shared the video said it happened in Lagos.One more photo below.

COURT CONVICTS TWO P&ID DIRECTORS FOR FRAUD,WIND UP COMPANY+ASSETS FORFEITED TO FG.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC on September 19, 2019 secured the conviction of commercial director of Process and Industrial Developments Limited, (P&ID), Mohammed Kuchazi and the company’s director of process, Adamu Usman before Justice I. E. Ekwo of Federal High Court, sitting in Maitama, Abuja. The judge sentenced the company, incorporated in British Virgin Island to wind up in Nigeria and its properties, forfeited to the federal government. The duo were arraigned on 11-count charges, bordering on obtaining by false pretence; dealing in petroleum products without appropriate license; money laundering and failure to register P&ID with the Special Control Unit against Money Laundering (SCUML) as required by law, amounting to economic sabotage against the Nigerian state.
