 Fuel scarcity bites harder in Abuja, Ondo, Osun, others • Independent marketers sell PMS between N625 and N799 per litre There is no succour yet for motorists and other petrol end users despite the Thursday statement by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) that it had resolved the logistic problems that sparked the supply crisis. Reports from across the country yesterday showed that many filling stations had no fuel to sell. Some sold over and above the threshold of N650 per litre while motorists and other buyers besieged the few ones that sold within the range of N600 per litre. While many petrol stations in Lagos sold fuel at the normal price and queues were not noticeable, it was a different story in the industrial town of Ota, Ogun State where some filling stations hiked their pump price to N799 per litre.                     In a determined effort to ensure that private schools operating in the State conform to the quality standard of education set by the present administration as well as deliver quality service like their public counterparts,Lagos State Government has disclosed that it would commence enumeration of all registered private schools operating in the State from September 26,2016.The State Deputy Governor,Dr .Idiat Oluranti Adebule,who disclosed this today at the 3rd quarterly stakeholders forum of private schools owners held at the Secretariat,Alausa,Ikeja,emphasized the State government's determination to ensure that all school children have access to quality education irrespective of whether they attend private or public schools,adding that part of the tools at government's disposal to achieve this objective is maintaining accurate and precise data on schools and their mode of operations,which she said the census seeks to achieve.In her words, ''The enumer

                                                  Yesterday sunday i was awake to watch the live red carpet moment and off cos i  snapped some photos from E! and is so amazing how serious and un-serious some actress took the 68 Emmys awards that was held at Los Angeles.While some celebrities used the opportunity to bare their chest.Even Regina King almost fell off the stairs immediately after her interview with Giuliana Rancic as pictured below immediately after the write-up and i was quick to photograph it because everything happened so quick..I heard that Game of Thrones has broken the record for the highest number of Emmy Awards.The show's total number of awards now stands at 38,which means it has beaten Frasier's previous record of 37.More photos below.

THE EARTHQUAKE TRAUMA IN KADUNA STATE IS STILL ON.{PHOTOS}.

                According to TV News where i watched the outcome of the earthquake in Kaduna state in Qei and Jaba area of Jaba Local Government and most recent in Kwoi and surrounding villages of Nok,Sanbah and Chori in Jama Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday 11th and Monday 12th September.No doubt the people are living fear and from what i watched on TV some people have packed out from the community and relocated permanently to another city.I even saw a woman who came all the way from Lagos to take her father away,but her father is refusing to leave his house.In a swift reaction to the incident on wednesday according to Vanguard,the National Space Research and Development Agency {NASRDA} attributed the cause of the recent tremor in Jamal Local Government Area of Kaduna State to Passive sources.NARSDA,which spoke through its head of media and corporate communications,Dr,Felix Ale said that the nature of the source will soon be determined after the completion of yet anothe

SOUND OF MUSIC STAR CHARMIAN CARR ''LIESL'' PAST AWAY AT THE AGE OF 73.{PHOTOS}.#RIP.

                         According to sources,Charmian Carr,who played Liesl in the film Sound of Music died at the age of 73.She died in Los Angeles on saturday after complications from a rare form of dementia.In her role in the 1965 film where she play the role of the eldest daughter to Captain Von Trapp,she famously performed the song Sixteen Going on Seventeen.After leaving the film industry,Carr ran an interior design firm in California.Her mother had arranged for her to audition for the role,although she had no singing or acting lessons.Carr later wrote two books on her experience ''Forever Liesl and Letters to Liesl'' and she frequently appeared at events commemorating the movie.Her only other major role was in the Stephen Sondheim television musical Evening Primrose.I watched the Sound of Music growing up and I even titled my first music album Sounds of Music just because of this movie and I watch this movie every saturday.May her soul rest in perfect peace,AMEN
