GRAFT SUIT OSHIOMHOLE: EFCC WAS NOT SERVED.#PRESS RELEASE.

Image
Ahead of the November 19 date for the consideration of the preliminary objection by All Progressives Party National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, challenging the competence of the suit which seeks to compel the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to arrest and commence criminal proceedings against him, the agency has blamed its absence at Tuesday October 23 hearing of the suit before Justice Anwuli Chikere of the Fe deral High Court Abuja on the failure of the plaintiff to serve the Commission with processes. This is contrary to the October 9 ruling of Justice Chikere, that the Commission be served. EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren said the Commission frowns at the attempt by counsel to the plaintiff, West Idahosa to mislead the court with claims that the Commission had been served. TOP INDIAN LAW UNIVERSITY INTRODUCED 'HARRY POTTER'' AS A COURSE.{PHOTOS}.

Image
According to BBC, A top Indian law university in the eastern state of West Bengal has introduced a course based on the fictional world of Harry Potter. The course uses the role of law in the series to draw parallels between the stories and real-life situations. Professor Shouvik Kumar Guha, who designed it, says it is an "experiment" to "encourage creative thinking." Several universities in the US and at least one in the UK also offer courses inspired by the famous series. The course in India, which is entitled "An interface between Fantasy Fiction Literature and Law: Special focus on Rowling's Potterverse", is expected to include a total of 45 hours of discussion-based teaching. APGA: HEALING THE WALKING WOUNDED -THE ROAD TO JUSTICE-BIANCA OJUKWU.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Bianca Ojukwu shared this photo above few hours ago with the caption ''  Core Deliverables: Yes, The Party is supreme, but should this really be the case where Equity, good conscience, justice and compassion are thrown to the winds and party members are treated with such rank brutality and impunity by those very leaders whose duty it is to protect them? It is St. Augustine who once said that ‘In the absence of justice, what is Sovereignty but Organized Robbery?’ Any attempts at meaningful  reconciliation by the Leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance under whose watch these gross violations occurred must begin with ensuring that justice is delivered to those aspirants who have suffered greatly and have been robbed of their mandate... Those victims who won their primary elections and were duly issued Certificates of Return, only later to have these same Certificates Of Return forcibly taken from them and handed over to the heavy buyers who lost, or even worse,

He wrote on social media few hours ago    '' I am presently out of the country on a prescheduled engagement. In the past 24 hours, I have been inundated with calls from friends and political associates seeking clarification on the rumours of my departure from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which has dominated the media. Let it be known that my path in politics is in the hands of the Almighty God, who has indeed been very faithful and gracious to me. I’m very grateful to God for this. My vision in politics is a system that works for everybody, a social and political environment where everybody, every section, and every tribe not only counts, but is also seen to count. As leaders, we must be mindful of this, for any system built on anything less will not endure. I am grateful to you - members of my family, my friends, political associates, and admirers across Nigeria and beyond - for your uncommon concern. I am indeed humbled by your kind words of solidarity
