 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.                                  Brandon Jenner's wife Leah Jenner took to her instagram to reveal that she gave birth to a baby girl last week.she wrote ''On wednesday,July 22nd,i became a mom.It has without a doubt been the most profoundly beautiful time in my life but also emotionally,spiritually and physically challenging too ...and i am so grateful for every second of it.Brandon and i are taking care of our healthy,little girl,Eva James Jenner''.Congrats to her and her husband.One more photo below.

A 2 YEAR OLD GIRL DEAD,15 HOUSES BURNT DURING A FIRE OUTBREAK YESTERDAY IN BAYELSA STATE.

               Yesterday saturday,a two year old baby girl died in a fire outbreak which rendered many people homeless today sunday in a suburb area of Ovom Community in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa state.NAN correspondent who visited the scene learnt that the fire,which destroyed no fewer than 15 houses in the area,started at about 8pm yesterday saturday.The incident occured opposite the Law Faculty of the Niger Delta University {NDU}popularly known as BGS in the area.The fire which damaged millions of naira worth of properties where said by eyewitnesses to be caused by candle light.The 2 year old girl that died,her mother locked her up in the house while she was selling in their shop because the girl was sleeping before the fire started.Eyewitnesses said ''Right now,the parents of the 2 year old girl are yet to be found''.

MORE THAN 15 DEAD,50 INJURED AS A FEMALE SUICIDE BOMBER EXPLODED HERSELF TODAY IN DAMATURU MARKET.

                               Today sunday around 9:30am.,a blast set off by a female suicide bomber tore through a crowded market in Damaturu Yobe state,killing at least 15 people.According to a police spokesman Toyin Gbadegasin ''Fifteen people have been confirmed dead so far and more dead bodies are being brought to the hospital,and around 50 people had been injured''.The explosion today came six days after a suicide bomber  killed three policemen at a checkpoint on the outskirts of the city.No one have claimed responsibility for the bombing,but all fingers points to the Islamist group,Boko Haram.

THOUSANDS OF SOUTH AFRICAN'S GATHERED YESTERDAY,AS ZULU KING ZWELITHINI,CELEBRATED HIS 67 BIRTHDAY.

                     According to sources,thousands of South African citizens gathered yesterday saturday,to celebrate the birthday of the eighth Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini.Zwelithini,who just turned 67,has been on the throne for 46 years,which is the longest time in Zulu history.According to the South African constitution,he is treated as a Vice President of the country.However,he does not have a real executive authority,since he is regarded as a spiritual leader.More photos below.
