 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. A LAGOS BASED GOAL KEEPER,WAS STABBED TO DEATH BY 2 PEOPLE,ON FRIDAY.

                                  According to sources,the goal keeper of Ifako United Football Club,21 year old Owawu  Samuel,was on friday stabbed to death by two suspected cultists identified as 22 years old Adebayo Ahmed and Ajose Isah at Ifako area of Lagos state.According to Salami Jimoh,a close friend of Samuel who also resides in the same house with the deceased,Adebayo Ahmed and Ajose Isah came looking for Samuel claiming that Samuel bought drinks for hiss friends on friday and that they had come for their own.''I told them to calm down that he will buy drinks for them.As we were talking Samuel called me on my phone and i told him what was happening at home.So he asked me to give the phone to his friend who was waiting  for him at home.I don't know what they discussed on phone before Adebayo Ahmed and Ajose Isah left.But when Samuel came back ,he asked me if i had N500 and i told him ...

ALIKO DANGOTE,TO OPEN TOMATOES FACTORY NEXT MONTH IN NIGERIA.

                Aliko Dangote is hoping to change tomatoes production in Nigeria with a newly built factory that will boost domestic output,create jobs,and even indirectly fight Boko Haram.When the Dangote factory opens next month it will provide about 430,000 tonnes of tomatoes paste annually.It will directly employ 120 people and 50,000 farmers have been engaged.However,erratic power supply,which Nigeria has been grappling with for more than two decades,and lack of import controls remain the factory's main challenges.One more photo below.                                                                   

THE AHMADIYYAH HOSPITAL IN LAGOS,WAS BARRED FOR USE YESTERDAY BY THE STATE GOVERNMENT.#LASSA FEVER.

                      The Lagos State Government yesterday announced that it had placed Ahmadiyyah Hospital,Ojokoro under surveillance following its contact with the Lassa fever index case.In effect,the hospital has been barred from service delivery until further notice,according to Health Commissioner,Jide Idris.Besdes,government is closely monitoring the 15 in patients and 25 health workers in the facility believed to have had contact with the Lassa fever patient.The monitoring will last 21 days.Commissioner Jide idris said in a statement tht ''Contacts tracing is ongoing and currently we have 92 contacts and all are being followed up.In the wake of reported case of Lassa fever in some states of Nigeria,the Lagos State Government has confirmed the occurrence of the first case of Lassa fever in the State.The patient,a 25 year old male undergraduate of Ahmadu Bello University,aria,Kaduna state was reported to have fallen ill after h...
