 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.                 A lot of countries round the world  came out for the Common Wealth games held in Glasgow and the baton to kick off the game,traveled under water before it was opened in front of the Queen.The opening of the games was colourful and there was full display of the Glasgow people.The royal family came out to greet fans all over the world but my favourite part was when Susan Boyle performed.Other musicians that performed are John Barrowman,Lulu,Rod Stewart and violinist Nicola Benedetti .Joh Barrowman,Scottish American actor/singer,dancer/presenter,kissed one of the performers.His open about being gay.More photos below.

           According to sources,the United states government and Nigeria on wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding {MOU}on a training modernisation project for the Nigeria police force.James Entwistle,the United state Ambassador to Nigeria said ''This MOU represents our two governments mutual commitment to engagement on institutional reforms at the NPF training academies.

GSK SEEKS APPROVAL FOR WORLD'S FIRST MALARIA VACCINE.

            According to sources,the company Glaxo Smith Kline {GSK} said today thursday that it is applying for regulatory approval for the world's first vaccine against malaria,designed for children in Africa.The British drugmaker said the shot called RTS,S,is intended exclusively for use outside the European union but will be evaluated by the European medicines Agency {EMA} in collaboration with World Health Organisation {WHO}.Malaria,a mosquito borne parastic disease,kills more than 600,000 people a year,mainly babies in the poorest parts of sub Saharan Africa.Experts have long hoped that scientists would be able to develop an effective vaccine against the disease,and scientists at GSK have been working on this one for 30 years.The WHO,has previously indicated it may recommend use of RTS,S from as early as 2015 if EMA drugs regulators back its license application.GSK has been developing RTS,S with the non profit PATH malaria vaccine initiative {MVI},wit...

116 PEOPLE FLYING AIR ALGERIE FROM BURKINA FASO,MAY HAVE CRASHED.

           According to Algeria ASP state news and a Spanish Airline company Swiftair said today thursday that authorities have lost contact with an Air Algeria flight en route from Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso to Algerie with 116 passengers on board.Flight AH 5017 lost contact after it took off and there is now confusion about the fate of the flight and where it might be.The company Swiftair posted on it's website that the aircraft took off from Burkina Faso at 0117 GMT {2117ET} and was supposed to land in Algerie at 0510 GMT but never reached it's destination.The rate at which planes are disappearing and crashing is becoming alarming.
