Ghana scraps visa fees for all Africans Ghana announces it will introduce a free visa regime for all African nationals in a move aimed at strengthening regional integration, tourism, and intra-African trade. In a post on social media platform X, Foreign Minister Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa says President John Mahama had approved the policy, which will take effect on May 25, marking Africa Day. “The Government of Ghana has decided to introduce a free visa regime for all Africans who wish to visit Ghana,” Ablakwa said, adding that the policy forms part of a broader effort to position Ghana as a leader in Pan-African unity, TRT Afrika reported.
