 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country. The suspected trafficker, Angela Okechukwu and her collaborators were also arrested.  Speaking, the Managing Director of OCHA Brigade, Comrade Celestine Anere who frowned at the poor health condition the children who are aged between two and twelve years are subjected to, assured that the state government will continue to crack down on all sorts of illegality and warning all criminal minded individuals to relocate from the...

NIGERIA CENSORS BOARD APPROVED THE VIEWING OF HALF OF A YELLOW SUN IN NIGERIA.

              Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's movie Half of a yellow sun,which was premiered in some part of the world has now been granted permission by the Nigeria Censor Board to air their movie in any part of Nigeria.The movie is based on the late 1960/70 civil war that broke out in Nigeria.Congratulation.

U.S AMBASSADOR TO NIGERIA,VISITS EMIR SANUSI IN KANO.

               According to sources,the U.S  Ambassador to Nigeria,James Entwistle,today tuesday,visited the Emir of Kano,Muhammadu Sanusi II,in his palace in Kano.The ambassador congratulated the Emir on behalf of himself and the American people.He said he believed the new Emir is capable of uniting the people of Kano and Nigeria as a whole.Well i know of him handling the people of Kano but Nigeria as a whole is Goodlucks duty,just to correct you Mr James.

ARMED MUSLIMS ATTACKED A CHURCH AT CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC.

              According to the Catholic church officials,they said Rebels fighters and armed Muslim civilians killed many people in an attavk on a church compound in Central African Republic on monday where thousands of civilians had taken refuge.The attack came just a day before French Defence Minister Jean Yves Le Drain was due to visit the town,where a grenade attack injured Seven French soldiers last week.Church official said fighters from the Seleka rebels movement and armed muslism civilians from the town community entered St Joseph's cathedral aroud 3pm.Rev Jesus Martial Dembele,Vicar general for the archdiocese of Bangui said ''We don't have the exact death toll yet but many people have been killed.Ad i'm speaking to you,they are still there''.                                                           ...
