I don't want my body taken to a morgue or embalmed. When my time comes, I simply want to rest and return to my Maker. I'm not dying anytime soon, and I pray God grants me many more years on earth. Death is a part of life, and I believe we should be able to express our wishes about how we want to be laid to rest. When my time comes, let me go peacefully and return to my Creator".

                The trial of the former governor of Benue State,Gabriel Suswam and his former Commissioner of Finance,Omadachi Okolobia before Justice A.R Mohammed at the Federal High Court,Abuja was stalled today wednesday,June 21,2017 due to the absence of the second defendant,Okolobia.Suswam and his co-accused were arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC,on a nine-count charge,bordering on money laundering to the tune of N3.1billion.They were alleged to have diverted proceeds of the sale of shares owned by Benue Government and Benue Investment & Property Company Limited.The case,which has suffered several adjournments for over a year was to resume today,but coukld not go on as Okolobia,a second defendant in the suit,was markedly absent.His absence was attributed to his inability to meet bail conditions in another 32-count charge of fraud preferred against him,his principal {Suswan} and Jeneth Aluga,a former Accountant...

                 The Anambra State Government,on monday confirmed that a nursing student was killed by Lassa Fever,while 65 others were being monitored.Director of Public Health,State Ministry of Health,Dr Emmanuel Okafor,told newsmen in Awka that the deceased {name withheld] was a student in one private nursing school in Nkpor,Idemili North.Okafor said that the lady was admitted at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital,Awka,on June 11.According to him,she was immediately transferred to the General Hospital,Irua,in Edo for diagnosis where she died on June 17.''She was initially admitted at Amaku in Awka before she was transferred to Irua and was placed on admission there.She was bleeding from the gums,nostril and vagina and was confirmed Lassa Fever victim in Irua.The moment it was confirmed that she had Lassa fever,we started contacts tracing.As of now,we have about 65 we are following up,two of them have developed fev...
