 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country.                             It was indeed a very sad news,when Palestinian fanatics,armed with axes and guns,enterd the Jerusalem Synague and killed a British born father of 6 and three American citizens.Prime Minister Benjamine Netanyahu,vowed to respond harshly,describing the attack as a ''Crue murder of Jews who came to pray and were killedby despicable murderes''.Netanyahu,immediately ordered the demolition of the attackers homes as well as homes of Palestinians who carried out several other recent attacks.Victim Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Goldberg,described as a pillar of the community,was born in Liverpool.The father of six held a dual British/Israeli passport.The others killed in the attack have been identified as Rabbi Moshe Twersky,Rabbi Arieh Kopinsky,and Rabbi Calman Levine,who were all dual U.S/Israeli nationals.The two terrorists were shot dead after the attack by the police.Thousands of people attended the fun...

INEC SET TO IMPLEMENT CAMPAIGN EXPENSES RULES AS THEY LIFT CAMPAIGN BAN FOR 2015 ELECTIONS.

                        It was confirmed by the Electoral Commission yesterday monday that they have officially lifted the ban on campaigns for 2015 elections.According to the Chief Press Secretary of INEC Chairmam Mr Kayode Idowu said ''The commission has put structures inplace to track expenditures.That structure did not exist in 2011,but now,we have been able to put structures in place to track the expenditure of politicians and we are going to be doing that.Section 91,sub section 2-7 of the Electoral Act,dwells on limitation on Election expenses.The maximum elections expenses to be incurred by a candidate at a presidential,governorship election shall be N1 billion and N200 million,respectively.The maximum amount of election expenses to be incured of Senatorial seat by a candidate and House of Representatives shall be N40 million and N20 million respectively.While in the case of State Assembly election,the maximum amount of ...

U.S HUMAN RIGHTS WATCH,ACCUSED CONGO POLICE OF EXECUTING 51 PEOPLE.

                     Today tuesaday,U.S based Human Rights Watch in Congo accused police in Congo of executing atleast 51 people in an anti-gang operation and of being responsible for the disappearance of 33 more people.The operation was launched a year ago to tackle criminal gangs in the Kinshasa.The Human Right group,accused police involved in operation Likofi of executing unarmed young men at home in front of family members and in markets in an attempt to intimidate the local population.Interior Minister Richard Muyej said ''Cases of misconduct have been presented to the justice system.For us,transparency is important......Before the courts,there are cases of police who were involved in the operation.We are transparent in all of this''

BURKINA FASO,SWEARS IN A NEW PRESIDENT,MICHEL KAFANDO.

                Michel Kafando,who was the former foreign minister,was sworn in as the transitional President of Burkina Faso today tuesday.Hr his set to announce a Prime Minister tomorrow wednesday and together they will appoint a 25 member government.Kafando said ''Our country will never be a banana republic.Our eyes are open and thing will never be the same again.We will scrupulously respect the political order in this country''.Kafando was chosen by a committee on monday set up after president Blaise Compaore resigned and fled on October 31 in the face of mass protests against his attempt to change the constitution and extended his 27 year rule.Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Zida stepped in the following day and declared himself head of state.
