An unnamed juvenile was shot in Salem, Illinois early this morning. She had to be airlifted to a St. Louis hospital.  Diego Barradas, a 21-year-old resident of Centralia, Illinois is being charged with reckless discharge of a firearm and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon in relation to the shooting. At approximately 3 a.m. a 911 call came from 1336 north Trenary street. Officials were called to the scene for an unspecified reason. When Salem police officers arrived on scene they found a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound to her abdomen. She was treated on the scene, and taken to Salem hospital. Due to the injuries sustained in the shooting she had to be airlifted to a St. Louis Hospital. Mr. Barradas allegedly fled the scene and was picked up during a traffic stop shortly after the shooting. 4 days ago, Mr. Barradas was involved in an accident in Salem, Illinois where he and a 17-year-old juvenile girl crashed into a residence on Oak Park Drive in Salem, Illinois. New Year Pardon: 14 Inmates Regain Freedom In Nasarawa State           Goveenor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has Pardoned fourteen inmates serving various jail terms at the correctional facility in the State. The State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General Barrister Labaran Magaji stated this in a statement and issued to newsmen in lafia, the State Capital. The Statement quotes the commissioner saying the move of the Governor was in exercise of the powers conferred on him under section 212 (1) and (2) of 1999 constitution as amended. Chairman of Okrika Local Government sacks all political appointees in his cabinet. All political appointees serving in Okrika Local Government Area have been relieved of their appointees with immediate effect. Their sack was contained in a statement by Akuro Tobin, the Executive Chairman of Okrika Local Government Council. The statement, signed on his behalf by the Council Secretary, Oforiokuma Kwani, Tobin listed those so affected by the sack. They are, all Supervisors, Special Advisers, Advisers, Special Assistants, Senior Special Assistants and Social Media aides. According to the statement, the affected appointees are directed to submit every Council property in their possession to the Secretary. The statement further said that the Executive Chairman wishes all those affected well in their future endeavours.

A video making the rounds on social media captured a certain hairstyle that took the aid of about four stylists hours to complete. The braiding had a net-like blanket that covered the bearer’s face, alongside a tray-like back that housed the lady’s head. And was crowned with two balls made from the hair attachment dropping down her face from both sides. While many were fascinated by the style, others condemned it as dramatic as it seemed to hinder the lady from being able to use her mouth to eat.

Illinois State Police have confirmed that a 37-year-old Brownstown resident was shot by a Farina police officer. Yesterday, officials were called out to an attempted burglary at the 1600 block of North 1550th Street in Brownstown, Illinois. It is alleged the burglar set the house on fire.  When police arrived on scene to the attempted burglary, they witnessed Tyler Roe steal a vehicle from the residence and then speed away from the scene. Fayette County Sheriff's Department pursued Mr. Roe after locating his vehicle. Farina Police Department assisted with the pursuit. At approximately 7:00 p.m. on Saturday evening as officers approached Tyler Roe in the vehicle, a Farina police officer fired his weapon and struck Tyler Roe.  Mr. Roe suffered from a gunshot wound and was taken to an area hospital where he was later released and then booked into Fayette County jail.  It is unclear why the Farina police officer discharged his weapon as he approached the vehicle but Illinois State Poli

In December 2022, the reporter reached out to a racketeering syndicate that specialises in selling the infamous degree certificates from the neighboring countries to willing buyers at an ‘affordable rate’. The agent however told the reporter the option of “studying” for a year or month, but he opted for the month option. “That’s not a problem; we can help. If the money is ready, we can help you out.
