KWARA UNITED SIGNS ONE-YEAR SHIRT SPONSORSHIP DEAL WITH CHOWDECK. (PHOTOS).

 Kwara United signs one-year shirt sponsorship deal with Chowdeck Kwara United have signed a one-year shirt sponsorship deal with leading Nigerian food delivery company, Chowdeck, for the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. The partnership was consummated on Saturday at the club’s secretariat in Ilorin, with Chowdeck unveiled as the club’s shirt sponsor. Under the agreement, Chowdeck’s logo will feature prominently on the front of Kwara United’s jersey throughout the ongoing NPFL campaign, while the partnership will also extend to other areas of the club’s matchday and digital operations. Speaking at the unveiling, Chowdeck’s Head of Operations, Nasir Umar, who grew up in Ilorin, described the partnership as an honour and an opportunity to reconnect with the state through his company. “I grew up here in Ilorin and it is an honour for me to come back to the state through my company to sponsor Kwara United for the 2026/27 season. “We definitely look forward to furt...

ALI MODU SHERIFF THREATENS TO SLAP BOLA TINUBU.

            According to a National News paper,these past Monday,Ali Modu Sheriff threatened to slap Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the recently held National executive committee meeting of the party,it was said thar Mr sheriffexploded midway on Mr Tinubu and threatened to slap him but for the intervention of some party leaders and former vice president,Atiku Abubakar,the threat would have come to past.Sheriff and Tinubu clashed when the meeting began discussing on the congresses and convension.It was gathered that during the discussion the APC National chairman,Bisi Akande,who was presiding over the meeting nominated himself and the National Secretary,Tijanni Tumsah to serve as chairman and secretary respectively of the National convention committee,Ncc,which would also over see the conduct of the congress.Angered by the suggestion,Sherif grabbed the microphone and expressed his opposition to the choices.He was said to have made some remarks which suggested ...

YENI KUTI'S EX-HUSBAND,BURIED IN LAGOS

             Feneral service for Femi Enitan Segun,the ex husband of Yeni Kuti was held yesterday friday at the cathedral of the House on the Rock church,Lekki.The ceremony was presided over by the senior pastor of the church Paul Adefarasin,assisted by more than a dozen other pastors.Femi was a television presenter and a church deacon,who passed away March 21,following an accident on his power bike in Lagos,he was 56 years old.The remains of Femi Segun who once anchored NTA Morning Ride was later buried at the Vaults and Garden Cementery.His survive by his wife Bisi {a Judge},his ex-wife Yeni Kuti and his two daughters.May his soul rest in perfect peace Amen.One picture below.                                                                                ...
