 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

POLICE COMMAND IN ONDO REACTS TO FALSE PUBLICATION ABOUT A LATE POLICEMAN BY VANGAURD NEWS PAPER.

            The Nigerian police in Ondo state,has drawn the attention of the general public to the publication of the sunday Vanguard,page 8 of 20th July,2014,captioned  ''Police officer dies in sex romp''.The police command said the entire story is false,baseless,unfounded,ill-motivated and complete imagination of the writer.The police Command said it was an Inspector of police who reported sick by himself at the station at llutitin and conveyed i a patrol vehicle to hospital and not in a woman's house as alleged,but died on the way to hospital which could happen to anybody including the writer.It was an Inspector that died and not an Assistant Superintendent of police.No woman was arrested in connection with the dead of any police officer in llutitun.This shows that the writer did not conduct proper investigation but based his story on figment of his imagination.ASP.Wole .F.Ogodo,Police Public Relations Officer,Ondo state.

EX DESTINY CHILD BAND MATE FARRAH FRANKLIN,ARRESTED FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT.

              On sunday morning,Farrah Frankling was arrested for disorderly conduct in South Carolina after partying with football stars like Ricky Sapp and Da'Quan Bowers before being found by police in a strangers front yard.She told officers she wanted to sleep in the woods because she had nowhere else to go.The police said that ''Bowers flew the singer to Myrtie Beach where they went out all day and night on saturday,enjoying cocktails.When they all went back to Sapp\s residence,Farrah was apparently intoxicated''.Ssapp and Bowers told police they believe Farrah ''Had been doing drugs because she often visited the bathroom for long periods of time''.In the year 2000,Farrah was riding high as one of the members of the destiny child but she was sacked from the band after five months of entry.More photos below.

               Prince Harry revealed that he hates twitter,while meeting with teenagers in Bethnal Green Academy in east London,where he was introduced to 60 digital media champions lined up to help promote September's Invictus Games.Though after Prince Harry claimed ''I really quite hate Twitter'',he was asked,during a question and answer segment if he was going to tweet during the September Games,he replied by saying ''I would love to get involved and go on social media and if it was for causes like this,i really would''.More photos below.

             There was an intelligent report that revealed that some insurgents had infitrated Utako market,disguising as petty traders,wheel barrow pushers,butchers and cab drivers awaiting instructions on when to bomb the market.Sources claimed the Boko Haram group may target Utako market,Area 1 shopping centre,Dei Dei market,Farmers market,Maitama and Area 3 spare parts market located behind the old Secretariat in Abuja.Just because of these new development,the task force incharge of security in Abuja was considering shutting down the above listed market and malls.
