 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

DEBRIS FROM A MALAYSIAN PLANE THAT DISAPPEARED 2 YEARS AGO,WAS RECENTLY FOUND IN MOZAMBIQUE.

                  Malaysia's Minister of Transport said that there is high possibility that the debris found in Mozambique belongs to Boeing 777.However Liow Tiong Lai stressed no conclusion has been reached.It's not confirmed if the debris belongs to MH370 that vanished two years ago carrying 239 people on board.Liow Tiong Lai revealed this in a series of tweets on his personal account.More photos below.

                 The Executive Secretary of Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria {MOMAN},Obafemi Olawore said marketers received 3 1 0 trucks yesterday,adding that if the same quantity is received today,the long queues at the filling stations will ease out by the end of the week.Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation {NNPC} in its fulfillment of its agreement has increased its daily supply of petrol to Lagos from 295 trucks {9.7 million litres} as at monday to 3 1 0 trucks yesterday,which is  1 0.2 million litres..Obafemi Olawore sated that there are vessels laden with products that were imported by NNPC but the problem is that the Corporation lacks storage and distribution facilities to distribute the products,which accounts for the current situation on ground.He noted that when the importation ratio was 50:50 between marketers and the NNPC,the distribution situation was not bad,adding that the 78 percent importation ratio given to the Corporation may be reviewed in second quar
