     Lagos State Government has commenced the distribution of maize and sorghum to feed millers, farm settlements and other stakeholders in the livestock industry as mitigation measures to the COVID-19 pandemic, to boost agricultural production in the State and avert food scarcity in the coming years. The State's Acting Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. Abisola Olusanya, who made this known over the weekend, noted that the injection of these ingredients into the feed mill industry would have a multiplier effect on the input and output of the feed millers and consequently on food production. Olusanya explained that maize being the major source of energy in the feed mill industry, as well as accounting for between 60 and 70% of the total ingredients used in feed formation and production, usually determines the final cost of the finished feed such that any fluctuation in the market price of maize also has direct effects on the finished feed.    COVID-19 Update by the Incident Commander, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu Good people of Lagos, Today, 48 fully recovered COVID19Lagos patients; 31 males and 17 females including 10 foreign nationals - 2 Indians, 4 Americans, 2 polish, 1 Brazilian & 1 Dutch were discharged from our isolation facilities to reunite with the society. The patients, 1 from Onikan, 8 from Gbagada, 10 from Agidingbi, 14 from Lekki, 4 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital and 11 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to  # COVID19 . With this, the number number of  # COVID19  confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos has risen to 1185.        A fatal motor accident occurred along Ogidi/Abatete Road by Buckie Poly axis on Friday 12th June 2020. The accident involving a 608 bus and a 911 tipper which claimed 7 lives already and many rushed to hospital.       Weeks after a UNIBEN student, Uwaila Omozuwa, was raped and murdered inside a church in Edo state, another student, Grace Oshiagwu, was allegedly raped and murdered inside a church in Ibadan Oyo state on Saturday, June 13... According to reports, Grace, a 21-year-old National Diploma student of Oke Ogun Polytechnic, was allegedly raped and then murdered inside the church located in the Ojoo area of Ibadan in Akinyele Local Government Area. She was discovered with machete cuts  on her body. In a statement released, the spokesperson of the state police command, Gbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the incident but said details of the incident are still sketchy.       June 13, 2020 A 50-year-old father, Peter Ayemoba, has been arrested by the police for having carnal knowledge of his two daughters. Ayemoba told the police during interrogation that he had been sleeping with his daughters since his wife died about seven years ago.
