 NO ABANDONMENT, NO NEW AWARDS: FG SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON MOROCCO SCHOLARSHIPS The Federal Government has firmly debunked misleading narratives circulating in some quarters regarding Nigerian scholarship students in the Kingdom of Morocco, describing such claims as false, unfounded, and deliberately crafted to misinform the public. The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, has clarified that no Nigerian student on a valid Federal Government scholarship has been abandoned. All beneficiaries duly enrolled under the Bilateral Education Scholarship (BES) Programme prior to 2024 have received payments up to the 2024 budget year, in line with the Federal Government’s obligations. Any temporary delays in outstanding payments are attributable to fiscal constraints and are currently being addressed through ongoing engagements between the Federal Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. 3 CHINESE NATIONAL,WAS KIDNAPPED YESTERDAY BY UNKNOWN GUNMEN IN KOGI,KILLING ONE POLICEMAN.

                                  According to the Nigerian Police,who confirmed yesterday friday kidnap of 3 Chinese national said today saturday that ''Three Chinese nationals were abducted by some unknown gunmen within the early hours of friday.One policeman was killed while another sustained gunshot wounds''.Other sources said the gunmen had stormed a quarry outside Lokoja,the capital of Kogi state,and engaged the policemen on guard in a shootout.The kidnappers escaped with their hostages on foot through the bush,in which the police began trailing them immediately.It was unknown whether the kidnappers were planning to demand a ransom.

                         According to an insider who works with the Fashion Police show,claimed that Kathy Griffin was about to be fired from the show before her unexpected Twitter resignation.Producers had met already and discussed booting her from the show.Kathy had a meeting with the producers,and that meeting actually took a sour turn when somebody suggested that a new segment called ''Whore Score'',but Kathy Griffin shot down the idea for being too mean,claiming ''Name calling and alliteration with no comedic context is simply the lowest hanging fruit''.Kathy then went on a rant,blasting the show as ''old school and tired'' which infuriated production staff,who felt she was being hypocritical as her comedy routines,which have always been exactly what she was complaining about.However Kathy Griffin denied she was facing being fired,claiming the show's producers kept promising her she could host in her own comedy style ...
