Stakeholders Call For Equity, Justice And Strategic Balance, Demand Zoning Of Zangon Kataf/Jaba House Of Representatives Seat To Zangon Kataf  Stakeholders across the Zangon Kataf/Jaba Federal Constituency in Kaduna State have renewed calls for what they describe as equity, fairness, and strategic political balance in the rotation of the area’s seat in the House of Representatives. In a communiqué addressed to the Governor of Kaduna State, the state leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), traditional rulers, religious leaders, community development associations, political stakeholders, and the electorate, the group advocated for the zoning of the federal legislative seat to Zangon Kataf Local Government Area.  The stakeholders argued that demographic and electoral figures demonstrate a significant imbalance in representation.  According to data presented in the communiqué, the constituency has a total population of 474,964, with Zangon Kataf Local Government ac...

AGGRIEVED PARENTS PROTESTS TODAY AT UNILAG,OVER HIGH CUT OFF MARK.

                   According to sources who were present at the rally today said,aggrieved parents of candidates seeking admission into the University of Lagos{UNILAG},today staged a peaceful protest against the institution for refusing to adhere to the cut off mark set by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board {JAMB}.JAMB had at a meeting with educational stakeholders last week agreed that Universities are to use 180 benchmark as a requirement for admission,while the Polytechnics and Colleges of Education are to use 150,but the University of Lagos management insisted that the cut off mark for admission into the institution is 250.This drew students and their parents to stage a peaceful protest at the university gate for about four hours.They also want the Registrar of JAMB Prof.Dibu Ojerinde to go.Hmmmm,more photos below.

                Musician Tiwa Savage just gave birth to a bouncing baby boy today,and her husband/manager Tunji Tee Billz Balogun shared the goodnews on instagram today wednesday,with a picture of him holding the baby's hand.He captioned the picture ''Thank you Jesus''.Other sources claimed that Tiwa went into labour yesterday tuesday the 21st of July 2015 at St Mary's Hospital in London.Alot of people have been sending their congratulatory message to the couple.I want to use these medium to say congratulation to Tiwa and her husband.More photos below.                                                                                                                   ...

A TERRORIST GROUP IN IRAQ,NOW USE CHICKEN BOMBS TO BLOW-UP INNOCENT PEOPLE.

                According to sources,a terrorist group that is operating around the Iraq city of Fallujah are now using bomb vests strapped to chickens in an effort to destroy innocent people.Once the chicken are strapped with the bomb,they are left to wander off into their enemies camps and are within striking distance,the Isis militants apparently will use remote controls to set off the explosive devices,killing all those close by.Experts warns that this is the latest techniques by the militant group,and other militant groups all over might start using the chicken bombs if they find out they have ran out of ammunition.One more photo below.                                                  

GEORGE CLOONEY,LAUNCHED AN INITIATIVE YESTERDAY,THAT WILL HELP TRACE SPONSORS OF WARS IN AFRICA.

               Yesterday monday,54 year old Hollywood actor George Clooney,launched an initiative to track down and help bring to justice those funding and profiting from Africa' deadliest conflicts,in a bid to fight corruption in war zones.George Clooney joined forces with US human rights activist John Prendergast in a project called The Sentry that aims to investigate the flow of money in and out of conflict zones and give policy makers the tools to take effective action.Using data collection,field research and analysis technology,the initiative plans to expose how conflict is financed and profits laundered,with a website that encourages people to anonymously submit leaks and tips. George Clooney said the aim is to ''Deny war profiteers the proceeds from their crimes.Real leverage for peace and human rights will come when the people who benefit from war will pay a price for the damage they cause''
